The Patriots have requested an interview with Dolphins outside linebackers coach Ryan Crow for their defensive coordinator position, according to ESPN.

Crow worked on Mike Vrabel’s staff in Tennessee from 2018-23, serving as the team’s outside linebackers coach over the final three seasons. Before that, Crow was a defensive assistant and special teams coach. His last stop prior to the NFL was working as a graduate assistant at Ohio State, Vrabel’s alma mater, in 2017. That marked Crow’s seventh and final season coaching in the collegiate ranks.

Before leaving the Titans for Miami, Crow received an interview request to become the Browns’ defensive line coach.

Last year with the Dolphins, he worked under first-year defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver. Miami ranked 19th by defensive DVOA and finished 10th in scoring defense, allowing 21.4 points per game.
