The fights from Thursday’s joint practices between the Patriots and Packers spilled onto the game field Saturday night.
Patriots and Packers players were spotted jawing and getting in contact with one another during pre-game warmups before Saturday night’s preseason game.
Patriots cornerbacks Jack Jones, Rodney Randle, Isaiah Bolden and Quandre Mosely appeared to be involved as seen on video from WBZ and Patriots.com’s pre-game video footage. Safety Joshuah Bledsoe, linebacker Marte Mapu and recently signed running back Ezekiel Elliott came over to break things up.
The Patriots and Packers had at least a half-dozen skirmishes during Thursday’s joint practice. Linebacker Anfernee Jennings was ejected from practice after leveling rookie linebacker Keshawn Banks during a punt drill.
We’ll find out next week when the Patriots hold joint practices with the Tennessee Titans if the two teams can keep their tempers in check.
