FOXBORO — Patriots offensive tackle Trent Brown was a non-participant for a second straight training camp practice Tuesday, heading down to a lower field for conditioning work while the rest of the team engaged in positional drills and walk-through team periods.
Starting left guard Cole Strange was present, but did not stretch or participate. He sustained an apparent left leg injury in Monday’s practice, the team’s first padded session of the summer.
Eight players were absent Tuesday, including running back Ty Montgomery, wide receiver Jalen Hurd, linebacker Terez Hall, defensive back Brad Hawkins and offensive lineman Chasen Hines. Hurd and Hines were injured Monday.
