FOXBORO — The Patriots returned defensive back Myles Bryant to practice Thursday after he sat out Wednesday’s session due to illness.
Bryant, who plays cornerback and safety, has taken the fourth-most snaps of any Patriots defender this season. He’s played in every game, recording 77 tackles, an interception, two forced fumbles and a sack. Bryant missed Wednesday’s practice along with starting left tackle Trent Brown (illness), who was also absent Thursday. Brown’s availability for this weekend’s season finale against the Jets is now in question.
The Patriots will release their next injury report Thursday evening.
Sunday’s kickoff against New York is set for 1 p.m. from Gillette Stadium, where snow is expected to fall before the game and perhaps during play.
