Patriots owner Robert Kraft is one step closer to Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement.
Members of the Contributor Blue-Ribbon Committee named nine semi-finalists in the contributor category in consideration for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025: Kraft, K.S. “Bud” Adams, Ralph Hay, Frank “Bucko” Kilroy, Art Modell, Art Rooney Jr., Seymour Siwoff, Doug Williams and John Wooten.
The committee will meet virtually on Nov. 12 and select one contributor finalist for the Hall of Fame selection committee to consider for possible election in 2025. Between four and eight total new members will be selected for enshrinement. The 2025 class will be announced in February and enshrined in August.
Kilroy was the Patriots’ general manager from 1979 to 1982 and vice president form 1983 to 1993.
Kraft bought the Patriots in 1994. The team has won six Super Bowls and appeared in four more during that span of time.
