Austin Campbell allowed one hit and struck out 13, while Ben Jarosz led a balanced attack with a home run and two runs batted in as Franklin (19-3) defeated St. John’s (Shrewsbury) 6-0 in a nonleague contest. … Noah Staffier’s game-winning single in the last of the eighth gave Beverly (15-5) a 3-2 win over Andover. … Dylan DiFilippo went 6 ⅓ innings to get credit for the win as Lynn Tech (10-10) qualified for the tournament with a 5-1 win over Salem Academy. … Dylan Major struck out six in an impressive performance on the mound, helping Southeastern best Rockland 8-2. … Jack Sarno allowed just two hits and fanned six for St. John’s Prep in a 2-1 win over St. Mary’s (L).

Shelby Parr and Jill Ondrick combined for 16 strikeouts as Archbishop Williams (17-5) defeated Bishop Stang 9-2 in the Catholic Central League.
