MONDAY’S HIGHLIGHTS

BASEBALL

In the Greater Boston League, Ryan Dugan went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and four RBI in a 12-0 win for Lynn Classical (7-1) over Chelsea.

Scott Longo was stellar from the mound to move to 3-0 on the year, delivering seven strikeouts in a complete game as Milton (10-0) topped Braintree 3-1 in Bay State Conference action.

Conor Jones walked it off for Watertown with an RBI single as part of a 7-6 Middlesex League win over Wakefield.

Rudy Gately tossed six innings of one-run ball with six strikeouts, adding to Matt Kelley’s two-RBI effort to help King Philip top Milford 3-1 in Hockomock League play. … Ryan Lemay’s two-run double backed a six-inning, three-hit outing on the mound from captain Andrew Zagami for Oliver Ames in a 3-2 win against Canton.

Spencer Merrick’s two hits and an RBI stood out for Abington en route to a 4-2 South Shore League win over Carver.

Michael Oates lit up the plate with a home run and a double, electrifying the Xaverian (5-4) offense within an 11-2 win over Catholic Conference foe St. John’s (S).

In nonleague action, Colin Fabry’s go-ahead RBI single and four no-hit innings of relief from Francis Comeau led Plymouth North to a 6-4 comeback win against Nauset.

BOYS LACROSSE

In the Mayflower Athletic Conference, Peyton Volz and Thomas Hustins each notched four goals for Southeastern in a 10-5 win over Westport.

Thomas Driscoll locked in for six goals and three assists, guiding Arlington Catholic (6-1) to a 13-10 win against Catholic Central League foe Archbishop Williams.

Sean Rivard’s second goal concluded a three-overtime thriller, capping off Colby Dunham’s four-goal, two-assist effort as Danvers outlasted Peabody, 9-8.

David MacNeil was a wall in net with 14 saves for Whitman-Hanson to help it outlast Silver Lake in overtime as part of a 9-8 Patriot League win.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Jayleigh Haworth and Celia Hiller had four goals apiece for Apponequet in a 15-11 win over South Coast Conference opponent New Bedford.

In a nonleague contest, Emily Sandelli collected five goals and an assist for Greater Lowell (4-3) in a 13-4 win over Monty Tech. … Sophomore Karina Bosco netted six goals to lead Dighton-Rehoboth (4-2) to a 12-4 win over East Bridgewater. … Ella Bartolomei erupted for 11 goals with two assists as Cape Cod Academy took down St. John Paul II, 17-11.

Ava Mason’s four goals led St. Mary’s of Lynn in scoring en route to a 15-4 Catholic Central League win over St. Joseph Prep.

SOFTBALL

In the Bay State Conference, junior Ariana Kreuzer went 4-for-4 with three runs scored and four RBI in a 13-1 win for Walpole over Weymouth.

Grace Forsythe batted 3-for-4 to lead an offense that produced three multi-hit performances, powering Woburn (7-1) past Arlington, 9-1, in Middlesex League action. … Brianna Cirrone registered two hits and six RBI for Reading in a 22-7 win over Winchester. … Sophie Glavine hit her first career homer and drove in two for Lexington (4-4) in a 12-0 win over Belmont.

Molly Lebel recorded her 300th career strikeout as Pentucket bested Saugus 8-2 in nonleague play. … Junior catcher Juliana Galeaota batted 3-for-3 with two RBI and senior pitcher Amber Goudreau tossed nine strikeouts to help Masconomet to a 12-0 win over Haverhill. … Regan Parr batted 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs, pairing with two-RBI days from Jill Ondrick and Shelby Parr to power Archbishop Williams over Abington 9-6.

Madelyn Kelley and Haleigh Kelley each drove in three runs and scored two more, pairing with Morgan Corey’s two RBI to lead Dighton-Rehoboth’s offense in a 13-0 South Coast Conference win over Greater New Bedford in five innings.

Caitlin Milner smacked a three-run home run in a six-RBI effort as Central Catholic rolled to a six-inning 13-1 win over Methuen in a Merrimack Valley Conference win. … Katherine Medeiros recorded a pair of triples for Billerica (9-0) in an 8-2 win over Lowell.

Alyssa Collins fanned 11 while allowing one hit, combining with a home run and five runs scored from Alice Dalton as Minuteman cruised to a 17-1 Commonwealth Athletic Conference win over Greater Lawrence.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Lucas Tan dialed up 11 kills and Nick Heitman added nine, pacing Acton-Boxboro in a 3-0 sweep of nonleague foe Algonquin. … Isaac Wedaman posted 10 kills and Eric Su had 21 assists for Cambridge (4-3), taking down previously unbeaten Greater New Bedford 3-0.

Matt Deeley’s 10 kills and three aces anchored St. John’s of Shrewsbury (8-2) to a 3-0 Catholic Conference win over Catholic Memorial.
