Melania Trump means business — and it shows.
The First Lady’s wardrobe has always reflected an elevated sense of style, but her second turn in the White House has sparked a renewed interest in “business chic.”
For her official photo released at the end of January, Melania went for a feminine take on menswear with a Dolce & Gabbana black blazer with satin lapels over a white top. A Ralph Lauren cummerbund and trousers completed the look.
She turned to the designers again for a sleek ensemble at the White House Governors’ Dinner early last week. Melania’s black velvet tuxedo with satin lapels was by Dolce & Gabbana, worn with a Ralph Lauren tuxedo shirt and a tuxedo belt.
The First Lady made a stunning power (dressing) move early this week in a three-piece suit by Ralph Lauren in an understated neutral tone as she lobbied for anti-revenge porn legislation.
And for President Trump’s address to a joint session of Congress Tuesday night, Melania appeared in a stunning grey skirt suit by Dior, the jacket featuring a fetching scarf detail.
