A 69-year-old Hull man has been arrested on child pornography charges after getting off a flight at Boston Logan International Airport, according to police.
James Tucker was taken into custody at the airport on Tuesday, and he was charged with: possession of child pornography, disseminating child pornography, and photographing an unsuspecting nude person.
Hull Police has been investigating Tucker with the U.S. Secret Service New England Cyber Fraud Task Force.
Police last week obtained a search warrant for Tucker’s home at 10 Driftway Ave., and executed the warrant when no one was home.
Officers at Tucker’s Hull home reportedly seized several hard drives, thumb drives and other items as evidence.
When police contacted Tucker over the phone about the search warrant, they learned that he was in Florida and would be coming back to the Bay State on Tuesday.
Several police agencies were waiting for Tucker at Boston Logan on Tuesday: Hull Police officers, Massachusetts State Police detectives, members of the U.S. Secret Service New England Cyber Fraud Task Force, and members of the Plymouth County Sheriffs Warrant Apprehension Unit.
Tucker got off the plane at around 5:40 p.m., and he was taken into custody without incident. His cell phone was seized as evidence.
Tucker was transported to the Hull Police Department for booking, and was held on $25,040 bail pending his arraignment.
The matter remains under investigation by the Hull Police Department and members of the U.S. Secret Service New England Cyber Fraud Task Force.
