A man barely survived a stabbing in Downtown Crossing early this morning for which another Boston man has been arrested.
Calvin Spencer, 33, of Boston is charged with stabbing the unidentified victim and is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges in Boston’s central municipal court on Thursday.
Boston Police officers responded to the intersection of Washington and Winter streets in Downtown Crossing a little before 8:15 a.m. Wednesday and found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds outside 10 Winter Place, which is at the end of a brick pedestrian alley.
The victim’s wounds were so severe that police believed them to be life threatening and homicide detectives were initially assigned to the investigation. He was transported by Boston EMS to an area hospital where his condition improved and he is expected to survive the injuries.
This is a developing story.
