Donald Trump took on the swamp and the swamp won.
At least for now.
Trump, the man who promised to drain the swamp is being drained himself, personally, politically and financially.
It costs a lot to stand up to a stacked deck, or to a politicized U.S. Justice Department that is working overtime to destroy Trump and re-elect a feeble and unpopular Joe Biden.
And that is the way Joe Biden, who is knee-deep in the big muddy himself, wants it.
Power corrupts, Lord Acton was wont to say, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Biden’s U.S. Justice Department has absolute power, and it is using it to put Trump in jail and keep the Bidens out.
What Trump should have done during his federal court appearance in Washington Thursday was to request suspension of the Democrat-initiated two-tiered system of justice.
He could then have asked to be treated as though he were Hunter Biden. That way he never would go to prison, like the way Hunter Biden never will.
But that did not happen.
And, after slow walking and watering down a Hunter Biden tax and gun violation that took five years, they now want a speedy trial for Trump that would take place during his campaign to defeat Joe Biden.
Biden, 80, needs to remain in the White House as long as possible to protect himself and his degenerate son Hunter from mounting evidence showing that the pair were in the business of selling access to Biden when Biden was vice president.
And the best way to do that is to shine the spotlight away from him and Hunter and onto Trump.
That is why whenever there is another revelation about the Bidens being on the payroll of the Communist Chinese, the Ukrainians and the Russians, the Biden administration announces another Trump political indictment.
Hardly had Devon Archer, Hunter’s former business partner, completed his closed-door testimony before a House committee of Joe Biden’s involvement in his son’s questionable influence peddling schemes, then a new round of Trump indictments was released.
This is the same Devon Archer that the U.S. Justice Department asked to be sent to prison on an unrelated charge before he could testify before Congress. The DOJ later rescinded the request.
Lost in the fog of Trump’s Washington arraignment on the charges he sought to illegally maintain power after he lost the 2020 election, was news of Archer’s remarks before a Republican-dominated House committee investigating what Joe Biden knew of Hunter’s influence peddling shakedowns.
Joe Biden has repeatedly said that he had no knowledge of Hunter’s businesses, nor had he ever talked to Hunter about his business deals, or that his son ever got money out of China.
All have been proven to be false.
You would never know that if you depended on the dishonest establishment media led by the New York Times, the Washington Post, NBC, CBS, and ABC.
If anyone got money out of China, it was the Bidens.
Archer, who was Hunter Biden’s business partner, told the committee that Hunter had Joe Biden on 20 of his speakerphone calls with Hunter’s foreign business partners when Biden was vice president.
Archer later said, “He (Joe Biden) was aware of Hunter’s businesses. He met with Hunter’s business partners.”
It is also interesting that to further distract the public, the latest Biden administration indictments of Trump also came when a New York Times poll showed that Trump is not only solidly on his way to winning the GOP presidential nomination, but that he could beat Biden in the 2024 election.
The timing of the indictments also coincided with another bad black eye for Biden after the credit agency Fitch Ratings downgraded the U. S credit rating, which makes it more expensive for the U.S. to borrow money.
The aim is to degrade Trump as much as possible to pave the way for Joe Biden’s re-election, no matter what it takes, no matter what it does to the country.
Trump wanted to drain the swamp. Instead, the swamp swallowed him up.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden and the Justice Department are turning the whole country into a swamp.
