King Charles was visited by Queen Camilla three separate times over 24 hours following surgery the monarch underwent for an enlarged prostate on Friday.

Camilla, 76, was photographed leaving The London Clinic Friday afternoon and evening, as well as Saturday night. She was seen smiling before she was driven off from The London Clinic.

When asked by reporters how Charles was doing, Camilla reportedly said, “He’s fine, thank you,” tweeted ITV News’ Royal Editor Chris Ship, along with a video of Camilla leaving the hospital.

Earlier this month, just hours after Kensington Palace announced Kate Middleton was hospitalized for a previously scheduled abdominal surgery, Buckingham Palace shared that Charles, 75, would be treated for an enlarged prostate — “in common with thousands of men each year.”

The statement was made in part to encourage other men to get checked, a royal insider subsequently told People.

Though Charles was forced to postpone multiple planned engagements, Charles will return to his royal duties following a “short period of recuperation,” per the palace.

Meanwhile, the 42-year-old Princess of Wales, who is also being treated at The London Clinic, is “unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.”

Charles reportedly paid a visit to his daughter-in-law prior to undergoing his own procedure.
