FOX Sports will be a must-watch for Patriots fans in the near future.
Ex-Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman will join FOX Sports as an analyst this fall, the network announced in a press release. He’ll appear on “FOX NFL Kickoff” with host Charissa Thompson, analysts Charles Woodson, Michael Vick, and NFL insider Peter Schrager on Sundays at 11 a.m. ET.
“Joining FOX Sports is a dream come true,” Edelman said in the press release. “I grew up watching the NFL on FOX on Sundays, and now being an analyst for FOX NFL KICKOFF feels full circle. Twelve years in this league has given me insight and opinions that I’m eager to share alongside the talented FOX NFL cast and crew.”
Ex-Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski joined FOX Sports during his first retirement in 2019. Former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is set to join FOX Sports in 2024.
Edelman, Brady and Gronkowski were teammates on the Patriots from 2010 to 2018. Edelman retired following the 2020 season as a three-time Super Bowl champion and Super Bowl LIII MVP.
He caught 620 passes for 6,822 yards with 36 touchdowns during the regular season in his 11-year career. He’s third all-time in postseason receiving yards and receptions.
Edelman joined “Inside the NFL” following his retirement. He also hosts the podcast “Games With Names.”
