


FOXBORO — After their second off day of training camp, the Patriots are far from being at full strength.
Five starters were missing for Sunday’s non-padded practice, including cornerback Jonathan Jones, center David Andrews and special teams captain Matthew Slater. Jones and Slater sat out Friday’s light, in-stadium practice. Andrews is missing his first practice of training camp.
Offensive tackle Trent Brown joined the starting offense for an opening walkthrough period, an increase from his participation in recent days.
