Will Wood threw three touchdown passes as No. 3 Xaverian (7-3) defeated sixth-seeded Leominster 35-20 in a Div. 1 state quarterfinal football game.

In a Div. 4 quarterfinal, Lawson Foley hauled in five receptions for 141 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also playing a vital role defensively (two interceptions), returning a pick 25 yards for a third score as second-seeded Scituate (9-0) punched its ticket back to the Final Four with a 28-0 romp of No. 10 Wayland.

Jake Banda ran for 168 yards and a touchdown on nine carries, while Sidney Tildsley added 107 yards and three touchdowns as top-seeded Shawsheen (10-0) rolled to a 42-0 win over eighth-seeded Newburyport.
