OBI AKUBUDE
CONCORD-CARLISLE
Akubude chalked up victories in the 55 hurdles and 300 at All-States. The team MVP holds school records in both events and defended her Dual County League title in both. The varsity swimmer is an honor roll student and earned the Oberlin Book Award. She will study physical therapy at Boston University.

KYLEE BERNARD
CAMBRIDGE
A powerful middle-distance sprinter, Bernard captured the Div. 1 title before racing to the All-State and had a season best of 1:34.58. This senior also ran 39.43 in the 300 and a very quick 56.05 in the 400. Bernard was sensational at the Dual County League Championships with victories in the 55, 300 and 600. An honors student and member of the National Honor Society, she will attend Boston College.

SARAH CLAFLIN
PEMBROKE
Only a junior, the best sprinter on the South Shore capture the gold medal in the Div. 4 55 before turning away a deep field to win the All-State title. Claflin was the Patriot League champion in both the 55 and 300 and a Patriot League All-Star. She also plays varsity soccer.

AVA CRINITI
LEXINGTON
A relentless distance runner, Criniti captured a tight All-State title in a sterling 10:51.22. This senior was the Middlesex League champion in the mile and 2-mile, and league MVP. She was undefeated in the Middlesex League. A member of the National Honor Society, Criniti will attend Northwestern University.

SARAH DUMAS
FRANKLIN
The versatile junior beat a strong field to take the gold medal in the State Pentathlon Championships. Dumas captured the Div. 1 55 title and took second at All-States. She garnered All-American honors with a fourth-place finish at the New Balance Nationals. The honor roll student is a member of the Franklin High Theater Company. She plans to study medicine in the future.

AMELIA EVERETT
NEWTON SOUTH
One of the best middle-distance runners in state history, this senior was third in the 800 at the New Balance Nationals. Newton South’s school record-holder in the 600, Everett was the Div. 1 and All-State mile champion and finished second in the 1000 at New Englands. The Dual County League’s Runner of the Year for the second year in a row, she is the defending outdoor 800 and mile champion. Everett will attend Stanford University.

BRIANNA EWANSIHA
PEABODY
The senior had big performances in the championship meets. The Div. 2 champion, she was second at All-States and seventh at New Englands. A 5-6 jumper, Ewansiha was the Northeastern Conference champion and took 13th at the New Balance Nationals. She has a 3.46 GPA and enjoys reading about historical events and walks with friends.

GRACE HANAFIN
BURLINGTON
The Middlesex League champion in the 55, long jump and 300, Hanafin also captured the divisional titles in all three events. She was the All-State champion in the long jump and took third at New Englands. Hanafin, who owns 12 school records, lowered her marks in the 200 and 300. The honors student was a cheerleader and will attend UMass.

RONNIE JONES
LOWELL
The senior had a huge winter in the shot put circle, culminating with a win at the New England Championships. The Div. 1 champion was second at All-States. Jones is the school record-holder in the shot put and was the Merrimack Valley Conference champion. The National Honor Society member will attend the University of New Hampshire.

CAMILLE JORDAN
BROOKLINE
The senior won the Div. 1 1000 before capturing the All-State mile. The Warriors’ captain has six indoor records and was the Bay State Conference MVP and team MVP. A member of the National Honor Society, Jordan earned the Harvard Book Award. She enjoys baking and will attend the University of Pennsylvania.

NYRAH JORDAN
BILLERICA
The sophomore served notice after winning the State Pentathlon gold medal with 3,265 points and leading Billerica to the team title. Jordan won the Billerica High SUMMA Award and the Pride Award for attitude, achievement and academics. A volleyball player in the fall, Jordan also plays multiple musical instruments. She plans to earn a degree in music or sports management.

BROOKE SERAK
BISHOP FEEHAN
The sophomore had a big season with wins in Div. 2 and All-States. Serak went on to earn the bronze medal at New Englands. The Mayflower Athletic Conference shot put champion broke the shot put record at the Freshman-Sophomore Small School Invitational and was voted the meet’s Outstanding Athlete. Serak finished a strong ninth at the New Balance Nationals. She is in all honors classes and is a member of Art, Science and Spanish National Honor Societies.

LOWELL

A quick lineup of Ronnie Jones, Quinn Petzold, Bridget Geary and Britney Ogiegor finished second at All-States in 1:45.24 after taking the silver medal in Div. 1. Ogiegor competes in the 55 hurdles and is among the top 10 300 sprinters in school history, as well as a member of the National Honor Society. Geary is a captain, an All-Conference athlete and member of the National Honor Society. Petzold competed in both the 300 and 600 and was the MVC runner-up in the long jump. Jones was the New England and Div. 1 champion in the shot put.

WOBURN
4×400
The All-State champion in 4:00.38, the team of Nicole Gangi, Leah Finn, Riley Power, Sydney Metivier and Kayla Buback also garnered gold at the Div. 2 Championships with a 4:05.72. Gangi scored in three events at All-States and is an honors student. Finn is an honors student who qualified for nationals, competes on the outdoor track team and is an honors student. Power was a national qualifier and honors student. Metivier was a state scorer in the 600 and national qualifier. Buback was the Div. 2 champion in the 600 and plays soccer and lacrosse.

BROOKLINE
4×800
Led by Camille Jordan, the All-State mile champion, the team of Audrey Seeger, Dasha LeFaivre, Zara Chaudry and Jordan Liss-Riordan captured the All-State title in 9:27.41 and was ninth at the New Balance Nationals. Seeger clocked a 5:15 mile and 11:44 in the 2-mile. LeFaivre clocked a fast 3:02.7 in the 1000. Chaudry pushed to a 3:13 in the 1000 and wants to major in biology. Liss-Riordan is a five-time Bay State Conference All-Star and clocked 5:03 in the mile for second at All-States.
