Saturday’s annual Meet of Champions at the Reggie Lewis Center concluded with historic highlights.

Dennis-Yarmouth standout Breanna Braham set a meet record in the 300 (38.64 seconds). The senior outpaced Sharon’s Nina Kyei-Aboagye by .64 ticks. Braham’s time was also the event’s fastest-recorded mark this season, and bested the prior meet time set back in 2014 by Dominique Hall of Shrewsbury.

“I just tried to give it my all,” said Braham. “Go out there, do my best. I had a goal for myself of breaking 39. Pretty proud of myself for going out there and breaking it. Last one, best one. So, I just went out there and gave it my all.”

Plymouth North standout Macey Shriner blazed to a winning mark in the 600 with a time of 1:30.54. The Penn State commit’s time was a record at the Meet of Champions, topping the original mark set in 2017.

“This whole atmosphere, I love it so much,” said Shriner. “High school sports. I will never forget the Reggie. It’s my last time going to the Reggie, and I’m kind of going to miss it. I think I’ll always remember my teammates. Always remember them.”

Shriner’s time was the fastest set for the event in-state this season.

Emmanuella Edozien tied a meet record in the girls 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.05 seconds. She later placed first in the long jump (18-05.25 feet).

In addition to her second place finish in the 300, Kyei-Aboagye took first in the 55-meter dash at 7.09.

Weymouth set a meet record in the 4×800, with Gracie Richard, Jessica Harding, Emma Daley and Isabella Galusha finishing at 9:20.97. Amherst Pelham’s 4×400 team of Ololara Baptiste, Skylar Fox, Emelia Luetjen and Moriah Luetjen combined for a meet record time of 4:01.49.
