Khudaynazar,  who runs the city’s police accountability office, was charged with assault and battery on a police officer and assault on a household member.  Huang, a neighborhood business manager for the city’s office of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion, according to the city’s website, was charged with assault and battery on a household member.

Both entered not-guilty pleas during arraignments at Boston Municipal Court Thursday.

“We both work for the city of Boston, we both work for the mayor’s office,” Khudaynazar told responding officers, according to the police report.

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu’s office has not responded to questions from the Herald.

Boston police acknowledged questions from the Herald but said it was reviewing the incident and would follow up later.

According to the police report, officers were called to Huang’s apartment by Khudaynazar who reported Huang took her car and phone and “took off.”

Upon arrival, officers heard shouting as they approached the door.

Police found an open door and, knocked and announced their presence and inside saw a shirtless man they later identified as Huang and Khudaynazar, who, according to police was yelling “please let me go.”

Police separated the pair and observed multiple bite marks on the male’s chest and arms, according to the police report.

Speaking with police, Huang told officers “she went on a date with my boss.”

Police speaking with Khudaynazar, said she told them that Huang had in fact cheated on her and that she went on a date with her boss. When he took her phone and car keys, she called 911, but he returned before police arrived.

Police described Khudaynazar as smelling of alcohol and slurring her words during the encounter, according to the police report.

She told police that Huang was holding onto her wrists and that she bit him in self defense. The pair was arraigned at Boston Municipal Court’s Central division and released on personal recognizance.. They are due back in court July 18.
