NextImg:Celtics get good news on first injury report after NBA All-Star break

Barring a late setback, the Celtics should have all of their regulars available when they return to the court Thursday night in Philadelphia.

Boston listed just one player on their first post-All-Star break injury report Wednesday, ruling out reserve forward Xavier Tillman (left knee inflammation) for their matchup with the 76ers.

Jrue Holiday, who missed the final four games before the break with a shoulder impingement, was not listed, nor was Jaylen Brown, who sat out Boston’s last two games with knee soreness.

Brown played in the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday night, suggesting his injury was minor, but Holiday’s removal from the report was a positive sign for the 34-year-old guard, who first hurt his shoulder in December. Holiday said at the time that the injury “probably” would linger, and the Celtics chose to sit him for games against Dallas, New York, Miami and San Antonio before their eight-day layoff.

Holiday, Boston’s second-oldest player behind 38-year-old Al Horford, has missed a total of 11 games this season. Brown has missed eight while dealing with knee, ankle, hip and shoulder ailments.

Tillman also sat out the Celtics’ last game before the break. The 26-year-old has been an end-of-the-bench player in his first full season in Boston, appearing in 27 of 55 games and ranking 12th on the team in total minutes played.
