A man and woman were found dead yesterday in a New Hampshire home in what police suspect was the result of carbon monoxide poisoning.

New Hampshire State Fire Marshal Paul J. Parisi and New Hampshire State Police Col. Christopher Wagner said troopers went to the home on Wilderness Acres Road in Lyman, N.H., Tuesday morning to conduct a welfare check and found a male and a female, as well as several cats and dogs, dead.

Authorities have not released the individuals identities, ages or what their relationship was to each other.

Autopsies are expected to take place Thursday, Parisi and Wagner said.

Lyman is approximately 160 miles north of Boston.
