WESTFORD ACADEMY
The junior bolted to a sterling 8:51.88 time to capture the Div. 1 2-mile and followed it up with a fourth-place finish at the Meet of Champions in a swift 9:05.88. Bergeron ran to a personal best 4:10.66 at the Bay State Running Scholastic Mile. The Div. 1 All-State cross country champion was a Dual County League All-Star and will be a three-sport captain as a senior.
CHRISTOPHER BROOKS
WELLESLEY
Brooks re-wrote the Wellesley record books by racing to new marks in the 100, 200 and 400. He was a double winner at the Div. 2 championships with wins in the 100 and 200. The team MVP, Brooks captured the 60-meter dash in the Rising Stars Division at the New Balance Nationals. A perennial honor roll student, Brooks enjoys music and skateboarding.

LEXINGTON
The senior broke three school records on the way to capturing titles at Middlesex League Championships, Div. 1 and Meet of Champions, along with second at New Englands and fourth at Nationals. Cassidy is proficient in the Robotics community and has been recognized at the national level. He will attend Claremont McKenna College.

ATTLEBORO
The Meet of Champions gold medalist in the triple jump, Charles has a personal best of 45-5 3/4. The senior was the Hockomock League Champion and also picked up wins in the Div. 1 Championships and Coaches Invitational. The UMass-Dartmouth commit was fifth at the New England Championships. The senior enjoys basketball and Wiffle ball and will major in criminal justice.

NORTH ANDOVER
Connolly used a devastating kick to win the Div. 2 title in a meet-record time of 1:53.38. He went on to bury the field at the Meet of Champions in 1:54.11. Undefeated in the cross country season, the senior also clocked a 4:16.66 mile during the indoor season and has clocked a quick 2-mile of 9:17.01. He will attend UMass.

BISHOP STANG
Cookinham had no peers in his specialty in Massachusetts and went on to take the National title. He had a personal best of 66-11 1/2 and also had a discus throw of 174-9. The senior was fourth at the Kansas Relays in the collegiate division after wins at New Englands, Meet of Champions and Div. 5 meets. Cookinham was presented the Carlin F. Lynch Outstanding Male Athlete Award. He was victorious at the prestigious Glenn Loucks Games and was the Catholic Central League Championships. The National Honor Society member will attend the University of Kansas.

MALDEN
The senior arguably had the best performance of the spring season when he bolted to a meet-record time of 46.99 at the Meet of Champions, the No. 2 time in state history. The Greater Boston League Champion in the 100 was the Div. 1 champion in the 400 and took second in the 200. Owner of 10 school records, he is a member of the National Honor Society with a GPA of 3.2. Emmanuel will compete at Northeastern University.

The Hopkinton senior owned the 110/400 hurdles, coming away with double victories in Div. 2 and the Meet of Champions. He was a Tri-Valley League All-Star and the MVP for a second straight year. The National Honor Society member will attend the University of Pennsylvania.

METHUEN
The senior had personal best os 21.69 in the 200 and 10.61 in the 100. Jimenez captured the 100 at the Meet of Champions and New Englands before breaking the tape at Nationals in the Rising Stars division. He captured gold in the 100 at the Andover Boosters Invitational and the 200 at the Haverhill Invitational. The Merrimack Valley Conference All-Star was victorious in the 100, 200 and 4×100 at the conference championships. Jimenez wants to pursue a career in software engineering.
NATHAN LOPEZ
ST. JOHN’S PREP
Lopez had a monster season that culminated with a scintillating state record of 8:44.54 for second place at the New Balance Nationals. He broke Alberto Salazar’s All-State meet record with his 8:59.29 for his third-consecutive All-State win. He was also victorious in the mile and as part of the 4×800 team. Lopez raced to 4:08.28 in the Bay State Running Scholastic Division for third against a tough field. The honor roll student will attend the University of Michigan.

BISHOP FEEHAN
Mignacca electrified the crowd at the Meet of Champions when he cleared 6-6 to win gold. The team captain owns the Shamrocks’ school record in the high jump at 6-8. Mignacca was the Catholic Central League champion in the high jump, long jump and as part of the 4×400. He was ninth in the high jump at the New Balance Nationals with a terrific leap of 6-6 1/4 and was second in the MSTCA South Decathlon with 5,517 points. A member of the Spanish and Social Studies Honor Societies, Mignacca will attend Providence College.

LEXINGTON
The only freshman on the All-Scholastic team, Mow was victorious in Div. 1, Meet of Champions and at the Freshman Nationals. Mow has already leaped 22-8 and owns a personal best of 11.32 in the 100. He enjoys football and basketball, along with perfecting his technique in the long jump, as a daily routine.

WEYMOUTH
This versatile talent is among Weymouth’s best-ever tracksters with school records in the long jump, 110 high hurdles and pentathlon. Riley captured the Meet of Champions pentathlon title with 3,402 points and also took the MSTCA South Decathlon with 5,937 points. The Bay State Conference All-Star was conference champion in the long jump and 110 hurdles. The honor roll student was captain of the football team and the indoor and outdoor track teams. He will attend UMass-Lowell and major in mechanical engineering.

ANDOVER
The senior moved into a tie for third on Andover’s all-time list with a vault of 14-0. Swenson rebounded from a sixth-place finish in Div. 1 to take the gold medal at the Meet of Champions. The Merrimack Valley Conference All-Star was captain of the ski racing team and owns a GPA of 4.2. He will attend the Rochester Institute of Technology and major in 3D Digital.

WELLESLEY
Webb defended his Meet of Champions title with a strong throw of 181-0 after defending his Div. 2 title with a heave of 182-9. The senior finished his high school career undefeated in the javelin. Webb was Bay State Conference All-Star in football and enjoys playing the piano, training and biking. He will attend Brown University.

4×100 RELAY
The lineup of Victor Yu, Jayden Bai, Jack Wheaton and Alexios Kontothanassis raced to victory in the Div. 1 Championships and second place at the Div. 2 Relays before capturing the gold medal at the Meet of Champions. Yu has a personal best of 11.61 in the 100 and 23.63 in the 200, as well as being a National Spanish Exam gold medalist. Bai captured the Middlesex League title in the 110 hurdles and 400 hurdles. He was also a member of the National Honor Society and NSDA Academic All-American. Wheaton earned MVP honors in the Middlesex League and was the 100 champion in 11.03 and 200 with a 22.32. He also plays varsity soccer and will major in design studies at Syracuse University. Kontothanassis owns Lexington’s indoor school record in the triple jump at 42-11 3/4. He’s an AP Scholar who will attend Boston University.

4×400 RELAY
An absolutely loaded lineup of Myles and Quincy Scott, Jack Tsai and Juan Talisayon was nearly flawless this spring with wins in Div. 1, the Meet of Champions, Div. 1 Relays and Bay State Conference. They set a school record of 3:18.93 at New Balance Nationals. Myles Scott was the BSC MVP and team captain. He will attend Northeastern University. Quincy Scott has a personal best of 48.84 in the 400 and was third in the Meet of Champions in the 300. An AP student, he will also attend Northeastern. Tsai has clocked 50.12 in the 400 and will attend Emory University. Talisayon has a personal best of 1:26.16 in the 600 and 24.1 in the 200. He clocked a personal best of 51.77 for third in the Jim Hoar Freshman-Sophomore Invitational.

4×800 RELAY
A tough lineup of Daniel Padley, Paul Lovett, Nick MacDonald and Nathan Lopez were victorious at both the Div. 1 and Meet of Champions in the 4×800. Padley has clocked a 1:56 800 and 51.7 400 to go along with a 4:27 in the mile. He also is a member of the World Languages National Honor Society for Mandarin. Lovett will attend Washington University in St. Louis and was a member of the 4xMile Div. 1 Relay gold-medal squad. He runs cross country and has won several academic awards. MacDonald, who also plays soccer and runs indoor track, has a personal best of 1:58.8 and was second in the Catholic Conference 800. He has a 400 best of 53.1 and will be the indoor track captain next winter. MacDonald is also an honor roll student.
