Do you want a drink with that?

The Boston Police Department is seeking one salty customer they accuse of flinging french fries at a woman inside a Roxbury McDonalds Monday afternoon. The woman, who worked at the restaurant, allegedly defended herself by throwing a soda at him.

A couple police officers heard a call for a fight at the fast food restaurant at 301 Warren St. around 3:45 p.m. and headed that way. Inside, the victim told them that the heavy-set, black man roughly in his 30s got upset with her enough to throw a box of french fries at her head. She said she then threw a soda at him before her manager pulled her back to the kitchen as a way to end the fighting.

The police are seeking to charge the man with aggravated assault, according to a statement. The police report has an unusual weapon listed: “french fries.”

A review of security camera footage from the restaurant shows a man matching the physical description provided by the victim. He also sports a black White Sox ball cap, a black Nike hooded sweatshirt, black shorts and what appear to be gray and black sneakers.

Police ask that anyone who recognizes the suspect to call detectives at 617-343-4275 or to submit an anonymous tip through the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS (8477).
