CAMREN ALLAIN

CARVER

The three-time All-American and two-time state champion scored a high jump of 6-feet-8, which was a half a foot greater than anyone else in the Div. 4 meet and two inches more than any other state champion. The previous Nationals winner is also an honors student who will be attending UMass-Lowell in the fall.

LUCAS ANDRADE

BROCKTON

The Div. 1 state champion in the 55-meter hurdle (7.52) as well as All-State champ in the same event (7.44) also placed ninth in Nationals and took home first in the New England meet. The junior set a personal high jump record at 6-feet-6 and his personal record in the 55-meter hurdle is 7.37.

AITHAN BEZANSON

ST. JOHN’S PREP

The senior won the state pentathlon and qualified for the New Balance Nationals. The previous New Balance All American and outdoor Div. 1 Pentathlon champion is a member of the National Honor Society. The senior also played soccer and will continue his track career at Babson College.

JACOB BRONSTEIN

CAMBRIDGE

The senior placed first in the All-State meet in the 1,000 meter (2:31.70) and the Div. 1 meet (2:31.19) while also being part of the 800 meter and 600 meter races on the season. He also ran as part of the 4×800 relay team in the Div. 1 meet with a sixth place finish as he anchored the race. He is looking for an education in biology and medicine while competing in track/cross country.

CHRISTOPHER BROOKS

WELLESLEY

The Bay State League MVP and the 2024 MSTCA Large Schools Invitational Outstanding Male Athlete ran in the New Balance Nationals Indoor meet with two top-25 finishes. The senior also won the Div. 2 meet with a 6.40 in the 55 meter and now has been top in the state in 55-meters, 100-meters and 200-meters. The two-time All-Scholastic is an honor roll student and is committed to the College of William & Mary where he will pursue a STEM program and run Div. 1 track.

NATANAEL VIGO CATALA

HAVERHILL

The two-time state champion in the 300-meter ran a 34.32 this season and also placed third in the All-American 400-meter at the Nike Nationals. The senior also placed second in the US as well as a ninth place finish in the US 500-meter. The two-time 400 meter Nike and Adidas National All-American is an honor roll student and plans to run for Georgetown University while studying neurobiology.

JACK COURTNEY

LOWELL

The senior set a school record in the 2-mile the last three seasons and has qualified for All-States and Nationals multiple times. The Div. 1 2-mile champion (9:12.76) set the program record in the indoor race this season while qualifying for All-States and Nationals. The National Honor Society member will attend UMass-Lowell to continue running career in cross country, indoor track and field as well as outdoor track and field.

ALEX JACKSON

PEABODY

The junior is the first male athlete at Peabody to receive All-American Honors in 44 years as he went undefeated at shot put this season. He won the All State shot put with a throw of 58-feet-3 and set the inaugural weight throw competition record with 67-feet-11.5 which broke a 10-year state record. The junior placed fourth at the New Englands and 27th in Nationals. The four-time Div. 2 champion is a five-time state/individual champion and a two-time Northeastern Conference Male Athlete of the Year.

CHRIS LARNARD

BC HIGH

The senior set a school record in the 3,000-meter with an 8.25 at the BU Terrier Classic while also taking home the top spot in the All State 1-mile with a 4:14.01. He set a program record in the 2-mile and placed top-20 in the New Balance Nationals with a 9:07. The high honor roll student and National Merit Scholar will be at the University of Pennsylvania in the fall.

HARVEY LYS

ANDOVER

The Merrimack Valley Conference high jump champion placed first in the Div. 1 meet (6-feet-6) as well as the All State meet (6-feet-4). The Merrimack Valley Conference All-Conference team member has personal records of 6-feet-6 in the high jump and 21-feet-5 for the long jump.

AJAY RAINA

ACTON-BOXBORO

The senior set a personal record and set the top time in the state with a 1:20.59 in the 600-meters this season. The two-time state champion won the 600-meters at the Div. 1 meet with a 1:20.85 and placed second in the All-State meet with a 2:31.84 in the 1,000-meter. He will be running track and field at Northeastern University in the fall.

CAMERON WALTER

BROOKLINE

The senior won All-States with a 1:21.13 in the 600-meter and placed second in the Div. 1 600-meter with a 1:21.22. Walter also set a personal best with a 1:20.96 this season in the 600-meter. The All-American also has best times of 1:56.14 (800 meter), 1:55.4 (800-relay) and 49.8 (400-relay). The honors student will be running at Brown University next year.

ANTONIO WIAFE

ST. JOHN’S SHREWSBURY

The All-State champion in the long jump with a 22-feet-7.75, Wiafe also netted 3,362 points in the pentathlon and won the Div. 1 long jump with a 21-feet-11.75. The senior placed 12th in the New Balance Nationals and broke the school record by 16 inches as well as the Pentathlon record by 400 points. He is committed to running track at UConn.

RELAY TEAMS

4×200

XAVERIAN

The team of juniors Jordan Wilson and Mitchell Kisgen as well as seniors Charlie Comella and Henry Hasselbeck ran a 1:30.32 to take the All-State 4×200 and a 1:30.55 to win the Div. 1 4×200 this season. Wilson is a Catholic Conference All-Star and was part of the Div. 1 football state title squad. Comella is a New England meet champion and placed fourth in the Div. 1 high jump (6-feet) and plans to play football and baseball at Boston College. Hasselbeck took home first in the Catholic Conference 55m as well as the 4×200 with the rest of the relay team. An honors student and Catholic Conference All-Star in track, lacrosse and football is committed to play football at UCLA. Kisgen also runs in the 300m and the 4×400 and has previously won the Freshman-Sophomore Athlete of the Meet.

HAVERHILL

The All-State meet winners with a time of 3:25.16 is made up of seniors Natanael Vigo Catala and Stephane Fevry as well as juniors Joel Ishiimwe and Hannon Wipff and Stephane Fevry. Ishiimwe was a second-team all-MVC selection in soccer and hopes to play college soccer. Wipff runs cross-country and baseball as well as being an honors student, while Fevry plays soccer and is an honors student.

BROOKLINE

The foursome of Cameron Walter, Argi Protopapadakis, Kailas Ciatto and Vito Alpeza took home the All-State meet title in the 4×800 crown with a time of 8:02.60. Ciatto is a two-time All-Scholastic in cross-country and will continue his running career at UMass in the fall. Alpeza was seventh at the Div. 1 meet in the 1000-meters and is a member of the National Honor Society, while the NYU-bound Protopapadakis was a member of the team’s state cross-country title last fall.
