There was a bit of a scare at Boston College High School Wednesday after an adult was apparently running through the school.
The High School, located at 150 Morrissey Boulevard in Dorchester — at the entrance to Columbia Point — was placed under a “brief lockdown” at around 1 p.m. “due to information that an unknown adult was on campus,” according to a spokeswoman for the Catholic, college preparatory school.
“At no point did the person come in contact with students, faculty, or staff. The person received care and was removed from campus without incident,” spokeswoman Colleen Carter told the Herald.
The Boston Police said they responded to the school for an “investigate person” call at 12:53 p.m. and “located a male subject running in and out of school buildings,” according to BPD spokesman Officer Michael Torigian.
Torigian said that EMS came and picked the man up for an evaluation.
