Like, how did a Massachusetts Air National Guardsman stationed at Otis Air base get top secret clearance since he was 20 years old?
How did the classified documents – which included plans for the war in Ukraine – end up with the accused leaker, Jack Teixeira of Dighton?
Has our intelligence been breached by a foreign enemy?
Did Teixeira act alone or did he have help?
Why weren’t the leaks detected earlier?
How much damage has he done to American intelligence and our allies?
How can prosecutors go after Donald Trump for having classified documents when you have this going on and top secret documents found next to Biden’s Corvette?
The alleged leaks by Teixeira come after several other foreign policy embarrassments under the Biden administration, including the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, the breach of confidential documents found in Biden’s home, Hunter’s laptop and the delay in shooting down a Chinese spy balloon while it traveled across the U.S. collecting secret information.
Now there are serious questions about how much damage has been done to U.S. intelligence in the wake of the leaks by the Massachusetts Guardsman.
The leaks – made to his gamer pals but then disclosed across the world – jeopardize future U.S. intelligence operations and undermine our foreign policy. It’s a complete breach of the government’s confidential documents and sources and it’s all on Biden.
Experts seem mystified as to how this kid had access to those types of high level documents.
Heads should roll at the Pentagon and C.I.A. for this, but they probably won’t. Biden is cluelessly on a foreign policy trip to Ireland while the leak case has exploded and has not yet addressed the security failures.
Teixeira was ordered held in custody until a detention hearing next Wednesday.
More embarrassing disclosures could be coming in the next few days and certainly at Teixeira’s future trial.
Teixeira is being represented by a public defender from the Bronx and could use some serious legal help in the coming weeks. His poor family was engulfed by vultures from the media outside the courthouse on Friday.
Let’s save the aggressive reporting and the hard questions for the Biden administration.
