Police swarmed St. John’s Prep in Danvers on Monday as officials reported an active shooter on campus.

“Report of an Active Shooter on Campus,” the school’s website read at 2 p.m. on Monday.

“There has been a report of an active shooter on campus at Benjamin Hall,” the statement from the school added. “Danvers and State police are on site. Students, Faculty, and Staff are sheltering in place. We will further provide updates as soon as possible.”
