The sap was flowing Sunday along with sweet-toothed visitors Boggastowe Farm and B & B, in Pepperell.

Owners Kevin and Nancy Ritchie were holding court, explaining the sugaring process while the boil was ongoing. Kevin Ritchie was operating the evaporator while Nancy Ritchie gave out samples of syrup that finished at different grades, from light amber to very dark.

The family-owned operation is a member of the Massachusetts Maple Producers Association.
