NextImg:2025 GMC Acadia Denali exceeds expectations

With parent company, General Motors Co. stepping up their game tremendously in recent years with focus primarily on SUVs and trucks, their array of consumer brands have recently got alot of attention with Buick and Cadillac. While the GMC Acadia was next on the list for a 2025 refresh, as the squeaky wheel always gets the grease, their recent release is nothing short of exceptional.

In Grasso’s Garage, we became the first to test the new 2025 Acadia Denali AWD, and what GMC can do to a vehicle is astounding. Gas mileage, price, comfort, design, storage and capacity, usability all get perfect marks in Grasso’s Garage as the new GMC Acadia Denali checks all consumer wants and needs for a great price.

Wrapped in White Frost Tricoat, with a white double-stitched leather interior was classy and comfortable. The Denali Reserve package, adding an additional $3K, which added performance suspension, Bose 16-speaker upgrade, 22-inch wheels and panoramic sunroof. Averaging north of 22 miles per gallon with the potent 2.5L Turbo 4-cylinder engine, paired with the 8-speed automatic transmission was a great combo and one that had plenty of pep in its step. Super Cruise was the most enjoyable experience in the Acadia Denali as the autonomous experience was second to none. My passion for Volvo and their autonomous driving now takes a back seat to the GM branded Super Cruise system as we put the capabilities to the test and went on the Massachusetts Turnpike. For over 80 miles, we experienced NO ISSUES, as Super Cruise did an outstanding job and was able to drive hands free for the entire experience. With Super Cruise being an upgraded option for all GM brands, there certainly is something to say for this product and its unthoughtful results on this test.

GM has certainly outkicked its historic coverage and built another chart-topper as the Acadia really exceeds expectations for consumers wants and needs. In Grasso’s Garage, the need for a 7-seater SUV is normally uncommon, but I can see why families and people movers are flocking to the Acadia for their next purchase; and let’s not forget the Denali reserved upgrade which is the cherry on top.
