SERENITY COLEMAN

NEW BEDFORD

The sophomore won a pair of events at the South Sectionals, the 50-yard freestyle (24.63) and 100-yard freestyle (54.12). She went on to win the 50-yard freestyle (24.32) at the Division 1 States. A high honors student, Coleman trains at GrenFin Aquatics.

LYDIA CRAFT

SEEKONK

The sophomore turned in a tremendous performance at the Division 2 State championships. She won both the 100-yard freestyle (52.26) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:05.77). As a freshman, Craft was the Div. 2 state champion in the 200-yard freestyle. A high honor roll student, Craft trains with Commonwealth Current in the offseason.

ZURI FERGUSON

ATTLEBORO

One of the more decorated swimmers in Hockomock League history, Ferguson captured three individual titles and was part of a winning 200-medley relay at the league championships. Ferguson won the 200-IM, the 500-freestyle as well as a pair of relays at the South sectionals, then captured the 100-backstroke at the Div. 1 States. She will continue her swimming career at the University of Florida.

JOSLIN HALSEY

LINCOLN-SUDBURY

The senior was undefeated throughout the season, including the Division 1 States. She won the 100-yard butterfly (55.53) and 100-yard freestyle (52.17) as well as the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:51.54) and 400-yard freestyle relay (3:39.17). The Dual County League Swimmer of the Year, Halsey will swim at Bucknell where she will be in the Freeman College of Management.

CARA HILL

WAYLAND

A Dual County League All-Star for the third time, Hill captured the 100-yard backstroke at the North Sectional Meet, then took third at the Division 2 States. Hill was part of a pair of state championship 200-yard freestyle relays in 2023 and 2024. In the offseason, Hill trains with the Wayland Community Pool Club Team.

FEINING HUANG

SHARON

The junior returns to the All-Scholastic pages after a terrific all-around season. She won a pair of events at the Hockomock League championships, then went on turning in winning efforts in the postseason. Huang won the 100-yard butterfly (55.87) and 200-yard freestyle (2:07.70) at the South Sectionals. A week later, Huang won the 200-IM (2:07.70) at the Division 1 States.

KATE KRUEGER

WESTON

The junior was the North Sectional champion in the 200-IM (2:10.90) and finished second in the same event at the Division 2 States (2:11.28). Krueger placed in the top five in the 500-yard freestyle and both the sectional and states. A three-time Dual County League champion, Krueger is an eight-time state medalist. She is a Tri-M inductee who sings in two choirs and an acapella group. She swims year-round for Charles River Aquatics.

MAISEY O’DONNELL

CONCORD-CARLISLE

The senior went undefeated and captured the diving event at both the North Sectional and Division 1 State championships. The Most Valuable Athlete on her team, O’Donnell was an AAU All-American and a past Boston Herald All-Scholastic. A member of the National Honor Society and a National Merit Scholar Commended Scholar, O’Donnell will attend Williams College.

BEATRICE TURRETTINI

CONCORD-CARLISLE

The junior was a force in the 500-yard freestyle, breaking the school record in that event with a 5:07.72. She was a two-time North Sectional champion in the 200-yard and 500-yard freestyle. Turrettini was second in the 500-freestyle at the Division 1 States. A member of the National Honor Society, Turrettini trains with Shawmut Aquatic Club.

ATTLEBORO

200-YARD MEDLEY RELAY

ZURI FERGUSON, AVA DOUGHERTY, SAMANTHA PROVOST, CAROLINE LYNCH-BARTEK

The foursome of Florida-bound Ferguson, Dougherty, Provost and Lynch-Bartek won the 200-yard medley relay at both the South Sectional (1:52.28) and Division 1 State tournament (1:50.97).

Lynch-Bartek, who will major in n was part of a 400-yard freestyle relay which took fourth in the state championships. A three-time Hockomock League All-Star, Lynch-Bartek is the president of the National Honor Society at Attleboro.

Dougherty, a high honors student, was the Hockomock League champion in the 100-yard breaststroke and placed third in the 200-IM and finished as a school record-holder in all three relays. An honor roll student, Provost qualified for the states in several events and was part of a winning medley relay in the Hockomock League championships.

LINCOLN-SUDBURY

200-YARD FREESTYLE RELAY

JOSLIN HALSEY, ISABEL MURPHY, HANNAH ROBINSON, MAYA PARTICELLI

The quartet of Bucknell-bound Halsey, Murphy, Robinson and Particelli won the Division 1 State title in the 200-freestyle with a winning time of 1:40.60.

Murphy is a high honors student who will attend the University of Virginia to major in human biology on the pre-med track. Robinson qualified for the States in the 100-yard breaststroke, 100-yard butterfly and the 200-IM, while Particelli was second in the 50-yard freestyle at the North Sectional Meet and trains with the Charles River Aquatics National Team.

LINCOLN-SUDBURY

400-YARD FREESTYLE RELAY

DEFNE RUSSO, BELLA NEWBERN, MAYA PARTICELLI, JOSLIN HASLEY

The team of Russo, Newbern, Particelli and Halsey won the North Sectional title in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:41.53), then came back and captured the Division 1 state title (3:39.17) a week later.

Russo was the team’s Rookie of the Year and qualified for the States in the 100-yard freestyle. She trains at Revolution Aquatic Club in the offseason. Newbern, one of two seniors on the relay team, will attend Vanderbilt University in the fall.

The Bucknell-bound Halsey earned All-American consideration in the 100-yard butterfly and broke three school records this past season. Particelli plays volleyball and is a Lincoln-Sudbury Scholar.
