LYNNFIELD

The MVP of the Cape Ann League completed 71 percent of his passes for 2,113 yards and 33 touchdowns. He also rushed for 304 yards and four scores in leading the Pioneers to a 9-2 record. For his career, Adamo finished with school records for passing yardage (5,251) and touchdown passes (69). The National Honor Society member will play baseball at Columbia.

MICAH AMEDEE

XAVERIAN

The 275-pound defensive tackle has been a stalwart behind Xaverian’s back-to-back Division 1 state championships. In 2024 he had 55 tackles and seven sacks en route to Catholic Conference All-League recognition. The honor roll student will attend Boston College on a football scholarship where he plans to major in finance.

BEN ANGELINI

FOXBORO

The 6-foot, 195-pound RB earned co-MVP honors in the Hockomock Davenport as he rushed for 1,562 yards and 21 touchdowns despite missing the first two games with a leg injury. For his career, Angelini had 3,531 yards on 525 attempts with 49 touchdowns. The honor roll student is an outfielder on the baseball team where he hit .379 last year.

AIDEN ASTORINO

KING PHILIP

The MVP of the Hockomock League Kelley-Rex, the senior standout recorded 75 tackles, three interceptions and a pair of sacks from his linebacker position. He also rushed for six touchdowns on his way to a second straight league All-Star selection. Astorino is a member of the National Honor Society as well as the Science, Mathematics and History National Honor Society. He plans to study mechanical engineering in college.

RYAN BANNON

NORTH ATTLEBORO

The senior running back/linebacker earned Hockomock League MVP honors after rushing for 950 yards and 17 touchdowns to go along with 65 tackles in leading the Red Rocketeers to the Div. 3 state title. For his career, Bannon recorded 224 tackles and earned a pair of Hockomock All-League honors. The National Honor Society member will play football and major in finance at Georgetown University.

JAYDEN BARBER

DENNIS-YARMOUTH

One of the more prolific quarterbacks in the Cape Cod area, Barber completed 155-of-261 passes for 2,290 yards and 24 touchdowns. He also ran for 632 yards and 12 touchdowns. He finished sixth on the state’s all-time list in passing yardage with 7,523 yards and 20th in touchdown passes (76).

MERRICK BARLOW

ST. JOHN’S PREP

The senior wide receiver/tight end caught 32 passes for 772 yards and 10 touchdowns in leading the Eagles to the Div. 1 state semifinals. An excellent student who is on the Head of School List as well as the recipient of the Student Leadership Award, Barlow is the reigning Catholic Conference champ in the 100-meters in track. He will play college football for the United States Naval Academy.

BRADY BEKKENHUIS

ARLINGTON

The 6-foot-6, 295-pound junior offensive tackle/nose guard was team MVP and the runner-up in Middlesex Liberty MVP voting. The two-time Middlesex League All-Star has verbally committed to play college football at Boston College.

AIDAN BOUTIN

HANOVER

The senior running back/linebacker rushed for 1,084 yards and 12 touchdowns while catching 16 passes for 157 yards. Boutin also registered 94 tackles, six sacks and a pair of interceptions. For his career, Boutin rushed for 1,357 yards and also had 224 tackles and 10 sacks. An excellent student who takes several AP classes, Boutin also plays rugby.

THOMAS BROWN

CHELMSFORD

One of the top linemen to come out of the Merrimack Valley Conference in recent years, the senior guard was his team’s MVP and a first team all-conference selection for the third time. Brown is also one of the greatest heavyweight wrestlers in state history with three state titles, three All-State crowns and a pair of New England championships to his credit. He will play college football at Villanova.

D’VON BURCY

READING

The MVP of the Middlesex Liberty rushed for 1,122 yards and added 98 receiving yards to finish with 20 total touchdowns as the Rockets advanced to the Div. 3 State semifinals. For his career, Burcy finished with 2,140 rushing yards, 249 receiving yards and 36 total touchdowns.

VINCENT BUSA

XAVERIAN

Busa stepped in at running back and rushed for 1,413 yards and 20 touchdowns for the Div. 1 state champions. The two-time Catholic Conference All-Star is an honor roll student who will play college football at the University of Rhode Island.

CASEY CARNEY

NASHOBA TECH

The 6-foot-2 standout was a dual threat for a Nashoba Tech team which advanced to the Div. 2 state semifinals. He amassed 615 receiving yards and 12 scores, while rushing for 597 yards and nine more scores to go along with three punt returns for touchdowns. On defense, Carney picked off five passes and registered 48 tackles. Carney is a member of both the National Honor Society as well as the National Technical Honor Society.

CARTER CARROLL

BC HIGH

Carroll completed 158-of-212 passes for 2,069 yards and 24 touchdowns. The Catholic Conference All-Star ended his career by throwing for 6,859 yards and 66 touchdowns. An honor roll student in each of his four years, Carroll will play his college football at William and Mary.

KAREEM CHAPLIN II

CANTON

The 5-foot-8, 160-pound senior running back/cornerback averaged nearly nine yards a carry and rushed for 10 touchdowns, while catching 31 passes for 481 yards and five more scores. He also averaged 17 yards a punt return with a touchdown, while recording 42 tackles and a team-best four interceptions. The honors student also competes in track and field.

GIANNI DEPRIMEO

WINCHESTER

The Middlesex Liberty All-Star rushed for 1,848 yards and 24 touchdowns. A two-sport standout, DePrimeo was a league All-Star in lacrosse and has committed to play lacrosse at the United States Naval Academy.

MEKHI DODD

CATHOLIC MEMORIAL

After missing most of his junior year with a knee injury, the BC-bound running back returned to rush for 1,362 yards and 22 touchdowns in leading the Knights to the Catholic Conference and Div. 2 state titles. An honors student, Dodd runs track in the winter and spring.

MAX DRESENS

WAYLAND

The two-time All-Scholastic rushed for 1,235 yards and 23 touchdowns on 115 carries, while adding 82 tackles and four sacks. For his career, Dresens finished with 3,003 yards and 47 touchdowns as well as 183 tackles and six sacks. He will play college football at Bucknell.

JAYSON DYER

BARNSTABLE

The junior running back rushed for 1,245 yards and 13 touchdowns, while adding 160 receiving yards and a score. A member of the basketball team, Dyer carries a 3.2 GPA. In the offseason, Dyer enjoys lifting weights and hanging with friends.

SHANE EASON

METHUEN

The senior standout rushed for 2,075 yards and 32 touchdowns on 175 carries to go along with 12 catches for 156 yards and three touchdowns. For his career, Eason finished with 3,764 rushing yards and 65 touchdowns as well as 101 receptions for 1,811 yards and 18 scores. The three-sport athlete also wrestles and plays lacrosse.

JAMES FARRELL

HAVERHILL

The senior quarterback earned MVC Div. 1 MVP honors after completing 198-of-316 passes for 3,107 yards and 18 touchdowns, while rushing for 1,013 yards and 20 touchdowns on 111 carries. Farrell ended his career with 7,255 passing yards and 54 touchdowns to go along with 1,865 rushing yards and 31 scores.

LAWSON FOLEY

SCITUATE

The senior wide receiver/linebacker was MVP of the Patriot League Fisher after an undefeated season and a Div. 4 state title. He caught 43 passes for 979 yards and 18 touchdowns and made 65 tackles and picked off six passes. Foley ended his career with 115 receptions for 2,265 yards and 35 touchdowns. A member of the Business National Honor Society, Foley is starting a school internship with the Toronto Blue Jays this spring.

DOMINIC FUNKE

XAVERIAN

The 230-pound junior edge rusher provided the Div. 1 state champions with 76.5 tackles, 13.5 sacks and five forced fumbles. For his career, Funke has 223 tackles and 35.5 sacks. An honor roll student with a 4.7 GPA, Funke also wrestles and plays lacrosse.

ANTHONY GERRIOR

BURLINGTON

The co-MVP of the Middlesex Freedom, the 6-foot-1, 180-pound senior quarterback threw for 2,714 yards and 32 touchdowns, while rushing for five more scores. He leaves as the school’s all-time leader in both passing yardage and touchdown passes. His long term goals are to play football and study criminal justice in college.

MIKE GALLIGAN

NORTH QUINCY

Galligan rewrote many of the school’s passing records this past season as he threw for 2,257 yards and 30 touchdowns, while rushing for 606 yards and nine more scores. TheA two-time Patriot League All-Star and a lacrosse midfielder plans on majoring in business in college.

JACKSON HART

DARTMOUTH

The senior quarterback threw for 1,083 yards and 13 touchdowns, while rushing for 593 yards and 11 more scores in leading the Indians to the Div. 3 state quarterfinals. A member of the National Honor Society, Hart plays lacrosse where he enters his final season with more than 100 goals and 300 points. Hart would like to play football and study sports marketing and management in college.

MICHAEL HEGARTY

CATHOLIC MEMORIAL

The senior tight end earned all-Catholic Conference honors after helping the Knights capture the Div. 2 state title. A member of the National Honor Society as well as the Principal List, Hegarty plays basketball. Hegart will play football at the University of Pennsylvania.

SEAN HICKEY

BISHOP FEEHAN

The senior two-way lineman earned MVP honors in the Catholic Central League. He recorded 74 tackles, 17 for losses, as well as eight sacks and a defensive touchdown. The two-time CCL All-Star was the Fred Pardy Linemen of the Year in 2023. A member of the Art Honors Society, Hickey plans on majoring in Marketing and/or Graphic Design in college.

SAM HUBBARD

NATICK

The MVP of the Bay State Conference Carey, the senior running back rushed for 1,210 yards and 21 touchdowns on 174 carries. He also added 26 tackles and an interception from his linebacker position. Hubbard ended his career with 1,852 rushing yards and more than 150 tackles. The four-year starter in hockey plans to play either hockey or football in college.

SEAN KILTY

STONEHAM

The senior running back rushed for 1,923 yards and 28 touchdowns on 205 carries in leading the Spartans to the Div. 6 State semifinals. He also picked off a pair of passes, returning one for a score, and ended his career with 3,022 rushing to go along with 152 tackles. Kilty is a high honors student who intends to pursue an electrical trade.

TALLAN KING

KING PHILIP

The Hockomock League All-Star averaged 10 yards a carry, ending the season with 780 yards and 17 touchdowns on 78 carries. He also registered 40 tackles and six sacks for a King Philip team which went 25-1 over the last two seasons, winning a Div. 2 state title and appearing in the final in the other.

XAVIER LANDRUM

TECH BOSTON

The Player of the Year in the Boston City League averaged 12.1 yards a carry, finishing with 1,218 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns on 101 carries. He also caught 10 passes for 308 yards and four scores. Landrum also recorded 47 tackles, six sacks and a fumble return for a touchdown.

JACK LUCCARELLI

NORWELL

The MVP of the South Shore Sullivan ran for more than 1,000 yards and 27 total touchdowns. A two-time South Shore League All-Star, the sophomore is a high honor roll student who also plays on the school’s basketball team.

TOR MAAS

MARSHFIELD

The senior standout threw for 1,776 yards and 19 touchdowns, while rushing for 345 yards and seven more scores in leading the Rams to the Div. 2 state semifinals. For his career, Maas amassed 3,975 passing yards and 39 touchdowns to go with 979 rushing yards and 15 more scores. A member of the National Honor Society, Maas will play football at Tufts University.

NOAH MACKENZIE

WALPOLE

The senior quarterback completed 165-of-280 passes for 2,366 yards and 22 touchdowns, while rushing for 504 yards and seven touchdowns on 84 carries. In his two years as a starter, Mackenzie threw for 5,379 yards and 54 touchdowns to go with 765 rushing yards and 14 scores. The two-time Bay State Conference All-Star and honor roll student will play football at Stonehill College.

RONAN MANNING

SCITUATE

The defensive anchor for the Div. 4 state champions recorded 109 tackles, 21 for losses, to go along with a sack. The two-year starter ended his career with 213 tackles and a pair of interceptions. He will study emergency management at Massachusetts Maritime Academy.

JUSTIN MARINO

MEDFORD

The Most Valuable Player in the Greater Boston League established school records for most points and yardage in a season as well as most touchdowns in a game. Marino rushed for 1,638 yards and 22 touchdowns, while throwing for 632 yards and four more scores. On defense, Marino registered 86 tackles, five forced fumbles and three interceptions. The three-sport athlete plays basketball and baseball.

JUSTIN MARQUES

FAIRHAVEN

The workhorse running back was a big reason why the Blue Devils made back-to-back appearances in Div. 6 state championship games. He rushed for 1,907 yards and 42 touchdowns, giving him a state record of 110 for his career. His 5,514 career rushing yards is 14th in state history.

SEAN McCOY

MANSFIELD

Mansfield advanced to the Div. 3 State championship as McCoy rushed for 1,054 yards and 15 touchdowns on 165 carries, while catching 24 passes for 250 yards and three scores. He also plays on the school’s basketball team.

WILL McDONALD

NEEDHAM

The 6-foot-6 senior defensive end recorded 12.5 tackles for losses and 10 sacks in helping the Rockets advance to the Div. 1 State championship game. A two-time Bay State Conference All-Star, McDonald also plays on the school’s volleyball team which has won a pair of state titles in the past three years. McDonald will play football at Army.

MANNY MENGATA

TEWKSBURY

The Merrimack Valley Conference’s Div. 2 Defensive Player of the Year registered 100 tackles in leading Tewksbury to the Div. 4 state semifinals. He also rushed for 615 yards and 14 touchdowns. One of the top wrestlers in the state, Mengata was recently named to the MHSFCA All-State football team.

NICK O’BRIEN

TRI-COUNTY

The sophomore rushed for 1,244 yards and 22 touchdowns on 180 carries, while adding 12 receptions for 266 yards and three more scores in leading Tri-County to the Small School Vocational Bowl title. He also recorded 45 tackles and picked off three passes, returning one for score. O’Brien has made the honor roll list in each semester.

YARIEL ORTIZ

EVERETT

The 6-foot, 170-pound senior wide receiver/safety caught 41 passes for 721 yards and 12 touchdowns for the Crimson Tide. The Greater Boston League All-Star picked off a pair of passes, returning one for a touchdown.

AJ PINET

DEDHAM

The co-MVP of the Tri-Valley League Large, the senior running back rushed for 1,528 yards and 16 touchdowns. His 5,528 career rushing yards are ninth on the state’s all-time list. An excellent student with 3.87 GPA, Pinet is looking to play college football at some level in the fall.

LUKAS PROCK

WELLESLEY

The sophomore quarterback threw for 2,300 yards and 25 touchdowns, while rushing for four more scores in leading the Raiders to the Div. 2 State semifinals. Prock was undefeated in his youth career and won several championships in the process. Prock also plays lacrosse in the spring.

J.D. RAYNER

CATHOLIC MEMORIAL

The 6-foot-5, 275-pound right tackle was a force for the state’s top-ranked team. A two-time Catholic Conference All-Star, Rayner is a member of the National Honor Society. He will continue his football career at James Madison University.

JACK REES

DUXBURY

The senior running back put together a terrific year for the Div. 4 State finalists as he rushed for 1,553 yards, added 130 receiving yards and finished with 24 total touchdowns. He also added 79 tackles, six sacks and two interceptions. An honor roll student, Rees will play football at Trinity College.

MICHAEL REILLY

ABINGTON

The senior quarterback threw for 1,200 yards and a school-record 18 touchdowns, while adding 400 more rushing yards. He also led the South Shore League with six interceptions and converted 31-of-33 extra point attempts. Reilly leaves as the school’s all-time leader in career touchdown passes with 32. A member of the National Honor Society, Reilly is also a captain on the basketball team.

JACKSON RICHARD

BC HIGH

The senior running back/linebacker rushed for 1,101 yards and 11 touchdowns in helping the Eagles advance to the Div. 1 State semifinals. He ended his career with 2,057 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns. A high honors student, Richard earned Catholic Conference honors in baseball as he helped BC High win the Div. 1 State title. He will play college baseball at UMass.

GRAHAM ROBERTS

ST. JOHN’S PREP

One of the premier tackles in the Catholic Conference, Roberts didn’t allow a sack all season. A three-year varsity starter, Roberts was part of the 2022 Div. 1 State championship squad. A member of both the National Honor Society as well as the National Spanish Honor Society, Roberts will play football at Harvard.

ISAIAH ROBINSON

NAUSET

The senior wide receiver caught 56 passes for 1,157 yards, while adding 204 rushing yards to finish with 16 total touchdowns. In 26 career games, Robinson amassed 2,304 receiving yards and 25 touchdowns on 109 receptions. In addition, Robinson added a kickoff return as well as two defensive touchdowns, He will attend Amherst College.

WILLY ROBINSON

SCITUATE

The senior rushed for 1,194 yards and added 391 receiving yards for 22 touchdowns in leading the Sailors to the Div. 4 State title. For his career, Robinson amassed 2,926 yards and 36 touchdowns to go along with 66 tackles. A member of the National Business Honor Society, Robinson will play lacrosse at West Point.

ETHAN RODRIGUEZ

NORTON

The MVP of the Tri-Valley League completed 115-of-185 passes for 1,359 yards and 12 touchdowns, while rushing for 1,076 yards and 13 touchdowns on 122 carries. A force on defense as well, Rodriguez registered 70 tackles, three blocked kicks, two sacks and two fumble recoveries. He ended his career with 4,493 all-purpose yards and 47 touchdowns to go along with 190 tackles. An honor roll student, Rodriguez has not decided on his college destination as of yet.

QUINN ROCCO RYAN

SALEM

The senior wide receiver earned MVP of the Northeastern Conference after amassing 1,054 rushing yards, 518 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns. Ryan leaves as one of the more decorated players in school history, the holder of eight individual school records. An excellent student with a 4.1 GPA, Ryan is a captain for both the baseball and basketball teams.

CHARLIE SIMEONE

NEEDHAM

The 6-foot-4, 295-pound senior lineman was an intregral part of a Needham squad that advanced to the Div. 1 State finals. A two-time All-Bay State Conference selection, Simeone was recently named to the MHSFCA All-State football team by the coaches association. He will play football at Holy Cross.

CADEN SMITH

CENTRAL CATHOLIC

The sophomore quarterback earned Merrimack Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Year with more than 2,000 all-purpose yards. An honor roll student with a 4.0 GPA, Smith was an all-MVC wrestler and also plays lacrosse. In the offseason, Smith trains at Doughboy Wrestling Club.

BEN SQUARCIA

MASHPEE

The MVP of the South Shore League’s Tobin Division, the senior running back/linebacker rushed for 1,102 yards and 22 touchdowns on 154 carries, while adding 250 receiving yards. On defense, Squarcia recorded 90 tackles, eight sacks and a pair of interceptions for a Falcon team that advanced to the Div. 7 state final. The high honor roll student with a 4.0 GPA plans on studying business management in college.

SID TILDSLEY

SHAWSHEEN

A three-time CAC Large MVP, Tildsley quarterbacked the Rams to the Div. 5 state title as he threw for 1,202 yards and 16 touchdowns, while rushing for 756 yards and 17 more scores. Tildsley ended his career with 5,275 passing yards and 69 scores. He is also a three-time All-Scholastic in wrestling where he has won a pair of New England titles.

DAVID TIMSON

CATHOLIC MEMORIAL

The senior linebacker earned all-Catholic Conference honors after recording 59 tackles for the Div. 2 State championship squad. A member of the National Honor Society, Timson is undecided about his college destination.

LUKE TURCO

BROCKTON

The co-MVP of the Big Three, Turco rushed for 1,012 yards and 10 touchdowns on 139 carries, giving him a career total of 1,557 yards. An honor roll student, Turco runs on the school’s track and field team. He is currently looking at Bentley, UMass, Merrimack and Assumption.

CULLEN WALSH

SHAWSHEEN

The three-time CAC All-Star was called by his coach Al Costabile as one of the best defensive tackles he’s coached in his three-plus decades of coaching. The CAC Large Lineman of the Year amassed 77 tackles (16 for loss) as well as 12 sacks for the undefeated Div. 5 state champions.

MEKHI WHITE

RANDOLPH

The speedy running back ran for more than 1,000 yards in leading Randolph to the Div. 8 State championship game. In that contest, a 22-16 loss to West Boylston, White had 143 rushing yards and two scores. He also runs track and has a solid 3.4 GPA while taking AP level classes.

The Gatorade Player of the Year in Massachusetts was the MVP of the Bay State Conference Herget after rushing for 1,738 yards and 26 touchdowns to go along with 78 tackles, six sacks and three interceptions. For his career, the two-time Herald All-Scholastic amassed 2,800 all-purpose yards and 33 touchdowns as well as 135 tackles, 15 sacks and three picks. A member of the National Honor Society, Williams will play football at Lehigh University.

The senior quarterback earned MVP honors in the Dual County League after throwing for 1,510 yards and nine touchdowns, while rushing for 1,110 yards and 17 touchdowns.
