Welcome to the NFL Draft!

The Patriots are scheduled to make their first selection at 14th overall, which based on past drafts, should come around 9:45 p.m.  Thursday night.

The Pats have 11 picks total, though they are expected to package some in trades at some point during the draft.

8:35 p.m. The Texans traded up to third overall and select Alabama defensive end Will Anderson. The Texans gave up a massive haul, including their 2024 first-round pick.

8:25 p.m. Surprise! The Texans have drafted Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud, despite persistent rumors they were not enamored with this year’s passers beyond Bryce Young.

8:20 p.m. The Panthers selected Alabama quarterback Bryce Young with the No. 1 overall pick. Young was the overwhelming favorite to go first. The Texans are now on the clock under former Patriots executive and current GM Nick Caserio.
