NextImg:Trump Will Skip Republican Debate in Alabama to Hold Fundraiser Instead

Donald Trump will skip the fourth Republican presidential debate slated for December 6 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to participate in a fundraiser for his campaign in Hallandale Beach, Florida, per a person familiar with the debate planning.

Thus far, Trump has skipped every debate arguing that he would not benefit from allowing his competitors to attack him and give them a potential popularity boost.

The former president is beating his opponents when it comes to fundraising. In the third quarter, he raked in $45.5 million, which is well above his rivals. An October fundraiser at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida hauled over $5 million.

Trump, being the master troll, has used competing events to counter-program the Republican debates and gain more attention for himself.

Back in August, he participated in a pre-recorded interview with Tucker Carlson to coincide with the beginning of the debate. He paid a visit to striking United Auto Workers in Michigan during another debate.  Earlier this November, Trump held a rally several miles away from the debate location in Miami.

It boggles the mind why debates are still being held. Trump is the clear frontrunner and it’s not even close. The GOP is Trump’s party, something many members of the corporate media and the GOP establishment don’t get, much to their political stupidity and America First Republicans’ frustration.

Thankfully, political realities will hit in 2024 when Trump wins the GOP nomination and takes back the presidency with relative ease. Political reality always trumps wishful thinking.
