Populist firebrand Geert Wilders, who has gained acclaim and infamy for his loud denunciations of radical Islam, won big in Dutch national elections that occurred on Wednesday.

Wilders’ party, the Freedom Party (PVV), is set to gain 37 seats in the Dutch lower house of parliament, which would more than double what the party gained in the previous elections.

“Can you imagine it? 37 seats!” Wilders stated at his victory party to a raucous chorus of cheers.

Wilders is expected to enter into a coalition government after the incredible election victory, and Wilders may even become Prime Minister of the Netherlands when it is all said and done.

“The Dutch will be No. 1 again,” Wilders said. “The people must get their nation back.”

“After populist libertarian Javier Milei was elected president of Argentina on November 19, 2023, former United States President Donald Trump praised him for his electoral victory. 

“Congratulations to Javier Milei on a great race for President of Argentina,” Trump posted on his Truth Social platform.

“The whole world was watching! I am very proud of you. You will turn your Country around and truly Make Argentina Great Again!”,  the former president continued.

Milei defeated his rival Minister of Economy Sergio Massa by a 56% to 44% margin. Prior to election day, Milei warned about potential voter fraud going down, especially by alluding to the first round of voting in October being filled with irregularities.
