As another July 4 has passed, another poll has found that Americans are becoming increasingly unpatriotic.
According to a Gallup poll conducted right before Independence Day, 41% of Americans surveyed indicated that they are “extremely proud” of their American identity.
For perspective, in 2004, 69% of Americans stated they were “extremely proud” of their American identity. Gallup observed that “Americans’ national pride was at its peak in the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001, when patriotism increased in the United States.
10% of respondents stated when it comes to being “an American,” they were “only a little proud” and 5% stated “not at all proud.” In a similar vein, 18% stated that they are “moderately proud” and 26% stated they are “very proud.”
“While the percentage of U.S. adults who say they are extremely proud to be American is near the lowest point on record, about two-thirds continue to be at least very proud,” the Gallup poll observed.
Indeed, these figures could have been a lot worse. Nevertheless they point to a downward trend in the American populace’s faith in the Historic American Nation. If mass migration and anti-white attitudes are not checked, such views will go in an even harder anti-American direction.
At that point, the US will struggle to survive as a coherent nation with a population that thoroughly hates itself and has no respect for its Euro-American founding.
