Leading podcaster, UFC play-by-play commentator and stand-up comedian Joe Rogan said recently that he believes Jan. 6 may have been a set-up by the intelligence community may have set up the Jan. 6 violence as a pretense for going after President Donald Trump.

Rogan made the comments in a discussion with fellow comedian Jim Gaffigan on his podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

“The January 6 thing is bad, but also, the intelligence agencies were involved in provoking people into the Capitol Building. That’s a fact,” Rogan said.

Rogan stated that Ray Epps, the supposed patriot who was caught on video inciting people to go into the Capitol on Jan. 6 but was never charged, is the smoking gun that makes him think Jan. 6 may have been a false flag.

I think that every other person who was involved in January 6, who was involved in coordinating a break-in into the Capitol and then instigating people, they were all arrested. This guy wasn’t. Not only that, but they were defending him in the New York Times, the Washington Post, all these different things saying Fox News is unjustly accused him of instigating when he clearly instigated, he did it on camera,” Rogan said. “I don’t know if he was a fed, I know a lot of people think he was a fed.”

Rogan added that the feds using “agent provocateurs” is a “common tactic” used by the feds “to disrupt peaceful protests” and promulgate enmity against their opposition. Gaffigan was skeptical, stating that he wondered why “Trump didn’t call for backup” during the madness of the Jan. 6 Capitol display. Rogan reiterated that it is common for the feds to use “agent provocateurs” against “someone” when they are an “enemy of the intelligence agencies.”

“With Trump, that’s absolutely the case. Trump set himself up against the intelligence agencies.” Rogan said.
