The Biden administration is giving cluster bombs to Ukraine as part of the new $800 million military aid package for the beleaguered globalist country, according to a report from the Associated Press.
Previously, the Biden White House claimed to be opposed to giving cluster bombs to Ukraine because those munitions will likely be used to kill civilians. But considering Ukraine’s abysmally failed counter-offensive against Russia, their views have changed.
“Cluster bombs scatter small submunitions over large areas, making them especially hazardous to civilians who can find unexploded munitions years after they were dropped. Because of their indiscriminate nature, cluster munitions have been banned by more than 100 nations. The US, Ukraine, and Russia are not parties to the treaty, known as the Convention on Cluster Munitions,” said foreign policy analyst Dave DeCamp of AntiWar.com.
The US is making this move despite analysis from Human Rights Watch indicating that cluster bombs have been used by Ukraine as well as Russia to devastate innocent populations.
“The use of cluster munitions in populated areas violates the laws of war due to the indiscriminate nature of the weapon and may amount to war crimes,” HRW said.
Big League Politics has reported on the US policy to give unlimited military aid to Ukraine in order to perpetuate their proxy war against Russia:
“In the middle of this week, the Biden regime stressed the United States’ commitment to helping Ukraine trap Russia in a never-ending war.
Joe Biden signed off on an additional $800 million in military aid to Ukraine. During the NATO summit in Madrid on June 30, 2022, Biden revealed that the new military aid package features more advanced air defense systems, ammunition, and artillery.
“The war could end tomorrow, by the way, if Russia stops its irrational behavior,” Biden said. “So, you know, when the war will end, you know I hope it ends sooner than later, but for it to end they have to be in a position where…the the Ukrainians have all that they can reasonably expect. We can reasonably expect to get to them in order to provide for provide for their physical security and their defenses.”
One America News reported that this announcement “came after Biden shared a phone call with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan while on his way to the summit in which he urged him to sign off on Finland and Sweden joining the NATO alliance.”
