NextImg:25 Michigan RNC Delegates Sign Letter Urging President Trump to Rescind Endorsement of RINO Mike Rogers for U.S. Senate

25 duly-elected RNC delegates and alternate delegates from the state of Michigan have signed a resolution urging President Donald Trump to rescind the endorsement of former U.S. Congressman Mike Rogers.

“Rogers represents the worst of what the Republican Party stood for prior to the rise of Donald J. Trump, and Rogers becoming the U.S. Senate candidate would be a backslide back toward the days of neoconservatism and globalism,” the resolution states.

Rogers is running for U.S. Senate and has received the endorsement for Trump. This has caused tremendous outrage among the grassroots conservatives of Michigan, who are already divided and fractured after a year of tumultuous leadership battles across the Republican Party. Recently, 1100 America First conservatives signed a letter circulated by the Rescue Michigan Coalition protesting Trump’s controversial decision.

The resolution states that “the Republican Party has no place for elected leaders who serve special interests and refuse to prioritize the interests of America above all else” and “urges Donald Trump to rescind his endorsement of Mike Rogers and support a strong conservative for the Republican nomination of U.S. Senator.”
