Terrorist wire service AP says that citizens are "on edge," not about the rampant crime, murder, and carjackings in their city, but that the police are setting up checkpoints and looking for criminal illegal aliens.

The crackdown is "ensnaring more citizens," you see. Not arresting criminals -- "ensnaring more citizens."

A day care center was partially closed Thursday when staff became afraid to go to work because they heard about federal agents nearby. An administrator asked parents to keep their children at home if possible.

Other day cares have stopped taking kids on daily walks because of fears about encountering law enforcement.

Weird. The crime crisis was all a fantasy. The real fear turns out to be... policemen and troops keeping an eye on criminals.

People didn't have their lives stolen by demons this week, and this makes the left sad.

As the wailing and gnashing of teeth over the Trump administration's takeover of the Washington DC police force begins to fade, the results are coming in, and they are nothing short of extraordinary.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the nation's capital has had no murders for seven days, something that had not been achieved since March and something I can find no recent record of in summer months when the murder rate is typically at its highest.

Last Monday, when a man was tragically gunned down in Logan Circle just hours after the Trump takeover, Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., took to social media to say that "Trump owns this. No word if the congressman agrees Trump also owns the lives saved this past week.

And it's not just murder, according to the local police union. Robbery dropped 46% in the week after the takeover, carjackings were down a whopping 83%, and violent crime down 22%. Who could possibly argue against that?

What DC needed was not a slow and steady approach to crime that fluctuates the rates here and there. It needed a shock to the system, and it got one. The patient is responding very well.

It's no good news to CNN, where racist black woman Abby Philip is boohoo whinin' and cryin' that Stephen Miller and JD Vance used mean "rhetoric" to insult the "elderly white hippies" who were rudely heckling them.

Abby Philip is employed at network that has called Trump a racist rapist every day for almost ten years, but she thinks the Real Story in DC isn't the sudden collapse of crime culture, but JD Vance very accurately identifying the out-of-towners being bused in to take part in paid protests.
