Maine rushes to become The California of the North, considering a bill that would make the state a "safe haven" for "transgender children" who run away from home to get genderbender procedures their parents do not consent to.

Maine pushes to become 'transgender safe haven' where minors can receive sex-change surgery and can't be returned to their parents - as outraged community leaders try to slow efforts

The 'Act to Safeguard Gender Affirming Health Care' would help out of state minors get access to hormone treatments and surgery

Opponents have labelled it 'state sanctioned kidnapping' and a 'transgender trafficking'

There was a work session scheduled for Wednesday but the meeting was postponed until January 25

A Maine judiciary committee is moving to create a 'safe haven' for teens seeking sex changes and protection from their parents but critics have slammed the bill as 'state-sanctioned kidnapping.'

The 'Act to Safeguard Gender Affirming Health Care' would enable certain out-of-state teens to access hormone blockers or surgery without their parents' consent regardless of their own state's laws.

A work session on the bill, LD 1735, was scheduled for Wednesday, but as public outrage grew and with severe weather, it was postponed until January 25.

If passed, LD 1735 would enable certain teens from states that have banned child gender-affirming care- such as Kentucky or Mississippi - to come to Maine, with or without their family, and access treatment.

Opponents have labeled the bill 'state-sanctioned kidnapping' and say it would allow unrelated adults to bring a child to Maine for surgery without a parent's knowledge or permission.

These people need psychiatric counseling for the stew of psychological comorbidities they suffer, not powerful artificial hormones to further wack them out.

Penn State lost a major motion, attempting to get themselves off the hook for a lawsuit about the "university's" virulent anti-white racism.

Jonathan Turley:

In her denial of Penn State's motion in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Judge Bettlestone explored the record, including how the DEI Director emailed all employees 'calling on white people' to 'feel terrible' about their 'own internalized white supremacy' and to 'hold other white people accountable.'" She also noted that the Assistant Vice Provost for Educational Equity "'led the faculty' in a breathing exercise in which she instructed the 'White and non-Black people of color to hold it just a little longer--to feel the pain.'" ...

In the case of Penn State, the school appears set on trying a case that will only increase the costs and negative coverage for the school. It is often the case that administrators lack the courage to challenge DEI programs or material. The alternative of spending potentially millions on litigation and damages can be viewed as rational rather than risking personal backlash for reversing course.

More details of that lawsuit here. A professor is alleging a hostile work environment, based on the obvious anti-white racism the school has adopted as its creed.

Last week, there was some successful pushback against Johns Hopkins "University's" repulsive racism.

The Navy's DEI chief announces his commitment to "equality of outcomes," regardless of merit, regardless of effort, regardless of ability to... defend the nation against its enemies.

...When you think about equity, you also need to think about equality, because those terms are often used interchangeably. So when you think about equality, which is the end state we want to achieve or the equality of outcomes, think about equity as the route we take to get there. How do we assess those different barriers and access the information to ensure that we all have the equal...um...access to that outcome that we want to achieve...

As @mythinformedMKE points out: The Navy is now committed to spreading Communist ideals using taxpayer-funded weaponry.

The Washington Post's Philip Bump says you must not do your own research, or you'll wind up being wrong. You must let the Cognitive Elite like Philip Bump -- who was wrong about everything about covid and is still butthurt that he got extremely embarrassed insisting that not only is Joe Biden completely innocent of involvement in Hunter's bribery schemes, but that there is no justification to even explore the question -- tell you what is true and what is false.

My favorite little-know fact I like sharing with people is that Philip Bump, who rages like a fire-and-brimstone preacher about anyone who dares to question the leftwing thought bubble, actually staged a TED Talk -- I'm sorry, I mean the less-prestigious extension-school version of a TED Talk, a TedX Talk -- in which he warned people to, get this, not to take shelter in their own curated "subjective realities"!

Amazing! Amazing!

Philip Bump's self-awareness is on par with Philip Bump's portion control!

And speaking of slope-shouldered disgusting fatbodies with no self-awareness: Brian Stelter, The World's Most Dangerous Potato, warns about the disinformation that he eagerly spreads:

Brian Stelter
@brianstelter

NBC's @BrandyZadrozny: "Disinformation poses an unprecedented threat to democracy in the United States in 2024, according to researchers, technologists and political scientists."

Brian Stelter pushed the Jussie Smollett race hoax, all of the covid disinformation, and of course was a leader demanding the suppression of any mention of the Hunter Biden laptop.

Don't do your own research -- just obey genius-level holy men like Philip Bump and Lumpy Brian Stelter!

Woke outerwear clothing brand @REI is shutting down its flagship Portland store following surging theft and public safety issues. The retailer supported BLM during the deadly 2020 BLM-Antifa riots and established a "BIPOC Advisory Council to advance DEI.

This is the CEO of United Airlines.

He also says he is more interested in diversity for his pilots and mechanics. He no longer wants to hire based on merit. DEI is toxic and will lead to a major crash.

Everyone needs to avoid United Airlines. This company is on course for disaster with people like this making critical decisions. The Board of Directors needs to seriously find a CEO who will focus on safety.

Charlie Kirk

Not only is Scott Kirby a bad drag queen and a DEI nut job, but hes also getting sued for attempting to "purge religious orthodoxy" at United after instituting one of the most draconian jab mandates in the nation. Those who didnt comply were either fired or eventually placed on leave and stripped of their medical benefits.

Scott Kirby is a sick individual.

Rob Schneider: Oh, his top priority in pilots isn't piloting, but "diversity?"

Seems like a boycott ten times as fierce as the Bud Light boycott is in order. Because this boycott isn't about saving you from drinking ratpiss beer. This boycott is about saving the lives of your family from crashing and burning to death on DEI Airways.

Gen Z TikTokers are trying to make the case that self-improvement is a form of colonialism.

This person is arguing that trying to "control your thoughts" is a negative thing that should be rejected.

The rejection of any self-responsibility is what we are seeing in Gen Z. Society is getting insane and they think that is fine. We are heading for a scary future if this becomes the dominant ideology of the population.
