Good morning kids. Beware the Ides of April. Yes it is that time again when we must file our taxes. So we can shovel billions of dollars to places like Harvard that specialize in brainwashing students to hate their nation, society, culture and heritage (in essence themselves) so as to be positioned to aid and abet in its, that is our, destruction. Yet when we, via President Trump demand they stop....

“The administration’s prescription goes beyond the power of the federal government,” whined Garber. “It violates Harvard’s First Amendment rights and exceeds the statutory limits of the government’s authority under Title VI. And it threatens our values as a private institution devoted to the pursuit, production, and dissemination of knowledge.” Weird what happens when you take money from the government.

Even weirder is the fact that Harvard's endowment, which is valued at somewhere north of $53 Billion dollars is somehow getting money from Uncle Sugar. Now expand this to not only academia but to every area of the private sector that receives money from the government and you quickly see how over the course of decades the parallel trajectory downward of our freedom and society and our economic well being. Repulsive as it may be, if Harvard wants to employ a gaggle of Claudine Gays and teach Jew-hatred and whatever else, let them do it with their own damn money, not ours!

As the late great Milton Friedman so brilliantly observed, there is nothing so permanent as a temporary government program. I thought the 16th amendment was an emergency measure to help fund our involvement and pay for our debt incurred in fighting the First World War. Then again, if it was, then where was the follow-on amendment to abolish it? And from Wilson to FDR to LBJ and on and on and on, the Leviathan exploded. So what is the Federal government's actual purpose beyond merely supposedly our national defense and postal service as was originally intended by those old white guys. And how was it funded in the first place? Could it be that this is what DOGE and tariffs are meant to address. Whether Trump understands history in the first place, he like all of us know and have known for years that something is rotten in DC, hence his descent from the Trump Tower escalator 10 years ago this summer and the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune not to mention the bullets and kangaroo courts.

Speaking of which, we have the interrelated topic of a now feral , out of control tyrannical judiciary to contend with as per our good friend the estimable and erudite author and historian Michael Walsh lays out in his latest essay:

“When use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, “it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less.”

“The question is,” said Alice, “whether you can make words mean so many different things.”

“The question is,” said Humpty Dumpty, “which is to be master—that’s all.”

And so here we are, with the battle for the soul of the Constitution now having assumed semi-human shape in the person of a "Maryland man" named Kilmar Abrego Garcia who is now dwelling in a maximum security prison in El Salvador -- his native land, as it happens. On one side is President Trump and the plain language of Article 2 of our founding document, and the principal members of his cabinet. On the other is the federal judiciary, whose sole constitutionally mandated member in Article 3 is the chief justice of the Supreme Court, all other federal justices and judges having been invented by Congress. The rest of Team 3 consists of the fleets of legal barnacles who feed off the body of the Republic and whose devotion to punctilious adherence to their own largely invented rules and principles is purely self-interested.

Of course whatever the courts can't do, there is a growing number of pyschopaths, and others who will us any means at their disposposal with zero compunction since, as was inscribed on the belt buckles of the S.S. Gott mit Uns God is on our side. Rather ironic considering the nietzschian-worshipping left is about as far removed from God as one can get.

Example the first for your consideration:

Federal charges have been filed against Jamison Wagner, a self-described “queer” electrical engineer, in connection with recent firebomb attacks in Albuquerque, New Mexico targeting the Republican Party headquarters and a Tesla Showroom.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the FBI Albuquerque Field Office jointly investigated the case with assistance from the Albuquerque Police Department and the New Mexico Department of Justice, the Department of Justice said in a press release.

Investigators linked Albuquerque resident Wagner to both incidents through surveillance footage and evidence from the scene, according to the Justice Department.

Wagner, 40, is a member of the LGBTQ+ group “500 Queer Scientists.”

Moving right along:

The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Monday it charged a Georgia man with sending violent threats against the head of the Trump administration’s intelligence community.

Aliakbar Mohammad Amin, 24, allegedly sent threats to Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and her family over text and social media posts, the DOJ said in a press release. The announcement comes after a week full of charges related to violent animosity against Republicans and the Trump administration.
“Death to America means death to America literally, Tulsi is living on borrowed time,” Amin said in a text message to an unknown recipient, according to the DOJ.

“The home you two own . . . is a legitimate target and will be hit at a time and place of our choosing,” he allegedly texted regarding Gabbard’s family
“Prepare to die, you, Tulsi, and everyone you hold dear,” Amin allegedly said in another text. “America will burn.”

A new report from our group, the Network Contagion Research Institute, provides answers. Our research, based on nationally representative surveys and analyses of online activity, demonstrates the existence of online subcultures that support the murder of public figures like Trump and Musk. This “assassination culture,” incubated on social media, has migrated from the margins of public life into the mainstream.

We found that nearly one-third of Americans surveyed—and around half of those identifying as left-of-center—believe that the murder of certain public figures is at least somewhat justified. The figures are startling: 38 percent of respondents, and 55 percent of those left of center, said assassinating President Trump would be at least somewhat justified; 31 percent of respondents, and 48 percent of those left of center, said the same about Musk. Forty percent of respondents, and 58 percent of those left of center, deem it at least somewhat acceptable to “destroy a Tesla dealership” in protest. . .

. . . This finding is especially concerning, as it reveals that many progressives have adopted a coherent ideology that justifies political violence. While right-wing extremism certainly exists, its left-wing equivalent merits considerable attention. Unfortunately, it has been historically understudied and, according to corroborating reports, is on the rise.

The rise of this ideology is troubling for American democracy. Political assassinations often occur when perpetrators believe a critical share of the public will tolerate—or even justify—them. Given the growing number of Americans who now express support for political violence, and the surge in threats to political figures, we recommend heightened security precautions across all levels of government.

What this otherwise informative essay does not mention is the constant drumbeat of hateful rhetoric about President Trump, conservatives and their supporters coming from every level of leadership and membership of the Democrat Party and their allies in the media and culture, along with the aforementioned American academia from pre-school to post-graduate.

But to deny Harvard $9 Billion to foment pogroms and political violence is somehow antithetical to the Constitution or something.

And before the trolls start in with but Josh Shapiro, it seems as if his mansion was set on fire by a certifiable and confirmed psychotic who might actually be a leftist and/or Democrat.
