Good morning, kids. Well, things indeed are heating up in the Middle East, not necessarily Israel vis a vis Gaza but a little further north. In Syria. Looks like the perpetually-lying-in-state John McCain's glib lyric substitution of the Beach Boys' "Barbara Ann" might be closer to happening than ever before. Prepare for your hair to get mussed (Note: it's a Breitbart link but annoyingly they took it from AP and just pasted it whole. Kind of annoying considering AP means All Propaganda).
The U.S. strikes reflect the Biden administration’s determination to maintain a delicate balance. The U.S. wants to hit Iranian-backed groups suspected of targeting the U.S. as strongly as possible to deter future aggression, possibly fueled by Israel’s war against Hamas, while also working to avoid inflaming the region and provoking a wider conflict.
Information about the specific targets and other details were not yet provided. . .
. . . Biden said Wednesday that he warned Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader, that if Tehran continues to “move against” U.S. forces in the Middle East, “we will respond.”
The latest spate of strikes by the Iranian-linked groups came in the wake of a deadly explosion at a Gaza hospital, triggering protests in a number of Muslim nations. The Israeli military has relentlessly attacked Gaza in retaliation for the devastating Hamas rampage in southern Israel nearly three weeks ago, but Israel has denied responsibility for the al-Ahli hospital blast and the U.S. has said its intelligence assessment found that Tel Aviv was not to blame.
The U.S., including the Pentagon, has repeatedly said any strike response by America would be directly tied to the attacks on the troops, and not connected to the war between Israel and Hamas. Such retaliation and strikes against Iranian targets in Syria after similar attacks on U.S. bases are routine.
Wow. How reassuring that Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants gave the mullahs a warning. Ooh, I'll bet they're all scared and stuff. Pfft. Many a war has been started as a result of miscalculation and misreading of a an enemy's intentions. That being the case, the sheer ideologically-driven incompetence at Foggy Bottom and the Oval Office via Kalorama based on a worldview that is 180 degrees out of phase with reality means that the odds of touching off a very hot regional war that could very easily go global given the players involved means you can almost certainly bank on it.
It's easy enough to talk out of both sides of your ass when claiming to stand shoulder to shoulder with Israel to placate the Jews while at the same time decrying "Islamophobia" and "white supremacy." That is, the political ramifications perhaps are easy enough to deal with. But how do these malignant schmucks expect to continue to prostrate themselves before the mullahs and try to shove an atomic bomb at them on the silver platter of placing them as the new power broker of the Middle East, then bomb them and threaten boots on the ground near or even inside Iran itself?
If it weren’t taken for granted by now that everything that comes out of the Biden administration is a colossal screw up, it would be shocking that anyone shaping foreign policy for the White House is still employed there. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan’s embarrassing 7,000-word drivel at Foreign Policy magazine should leave no doubt.
“The Middle East is quieter than it has been in decades,” read his piece — which went to press just days before Hamas’ savage attack on innocent Israelis. [Spurious sham] President Joe Biden’s “disciplined approach frees up resources for other global priorities, reduces the risk of new Middle Eastern conflicts, and ensures that U.S. interests are protected on a far more sustainable basis.” Yes, “challenges remain,” particularly in the West Bank, Sullivan conceded. But “we have de-escalated crises in Gaza and restored direct diplomacy between the parties after years of its absence.”
Uh, you fell for Hamas’ grand charade, is more like. And so much for Biden’s “direct diplomacy” between Israelis and Palestinians being “restored.” Fact is, while Team Biden was patting itself on the back, Hamas — likely in cahoots with Iran — was preparing for a major terrorist operation that now threatens to enflame the entire region.
Nice work, guys. . .
Yet Sullivan & Co. always say they’ve done a great job, no matter how clueless they are and dismal the situation. Each passing month brings a new round of depressing news on record-high border crossings, rising prices, high interest rates — and now two wars with major implications for the United States. But with every development, there’s someone in the Biden White House to tell us that, in fact, everything is awesome.
Worse, Sullivan even had the nerve to trash his predecessors and suggest that he, Biden and their team have righted all of their wrongs. “We recognized that Washington could no longer afford an undisciplined approach to the use of military force, even as we have mobilized a massive effort to defend Ukraine and stop Russian aggression,” he wrote. “The Biden administration understands the new realities of power. And that is why we will leave America stronger than we found it.”
A normal person reads and cringes. And worries about the future, given the alarming state of the world that has come to pass under Joe Biden’s [spurious sham] presidency. At least readers now know: The only point in listening to people from the Biden [junta], like Sullivan, is to get a sense of just how clueless they really are.
Were it not for the fact that these utterly braindead, figuratively and quite literally, fools are supposed to be the leaders of the United States of America, a nation that for nearly 80 years has more or less kept an insane world from completely tearing itself apart, it would be a laughable farce. But as we have seen the world has changed, most notably our nation. Just like the eras of Trump and Reagan proving to be merely speed bumps on the road to Hell, that 80 year period is turning out to be a pause in the natural human condition of war, tyranny and oppression. And the forces of oppression, be they our geopolitical enemies (nation states or the crew from Davos) or Islam, are champing at the bit to take us down, from without and from within. The names and places have changed but the situation has always been the same. Peace, freedom and enlightenment are not the normal state of affairs. Far from it. Bestial savagery is. As a great ape will say about man some 3,000 years from now:
And speaking of wisdom, such as it is, walking with idiocy:
On October 18, Hamas supporters stormed the United States Capitol and rallied in the Canon rotunda against the Israeli campaign to stop the Islamic terrorist group. While many of the insurrectionists were Islamist and non-Jewish leftist activists, the event was linked to two veteran anti-Israel organizations: Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow.
There has always been a pro-terrorist fringe among American Jews exemplified by organizations such as these two, along with others such as J Street, the Israel Policy Forum, the New Israel Fund, Jews for Racial & Economic Justice, T’ruah and other anti-Israel groups. And while they have generally boasted more organizations than members, a new poll raises the question of what percentage of American Jews supports Hamas and the killing of Jews.
The answer in one poll is deeply troubling.
Cygnal polled Muslims and Jews in America. It found that 57% of Muslims believed that Hamas atrocities against Jews were justified. But a less widely reported result found that 11.5% of American Jews also agreed that Hamas was justified.
3.6% of American Jews “strongly agreed” that Hamas was justified while another 7.9% “somewhat agreed.
While the vast majority of American Jews, 88.5% disagreed, there is a distinct minority of people who were born Jewish that supports killing Jews.
And supports Hamas.
1 in 10 American Jews supports the murder of Jews. Not to mention the rape, torture, kidnapping and dismembering of Jews. That is the JVP, IfNotNow, J Street, T’ruah demographic.
Polls are flawed and Cygnal dramatically oversamples Reform who make up 44.7% of the poll, but only 37% of American Jews, and Orthodox and Conservative Jews barely make up a quarter of the respondents, but the poll likely does reflect some percentage of American Jews. . .
. . . what the poll really lays bare is the worldview of Hamas supporters with Jewish last names. It does so without any of the dishonest language, the equivocation, the changes of subject that form the essence of their anti-Israel arguments. Asked if they support Hamas, they do. It’s that simple and it was always that simple. . .
. . . The poll didn’t assemble the percentage of Hamas support from urban (40%) liberals (36%) with college (29%) degrees, but it’s a good bet that it’s between a third and a half of them.
That also is a good description of a sizable percentage of American Jews.
A third of American Jews do not support Hamas, but when they are immersed in an environment that does, especially on college campuses, is it any surprise that some do? . . . Jews in America have become part of a cultural community that has supported leftist terrorism for at least half a century. Some never abandoned their admiration for Communism, others saw the Marxist terrorists of the counterculture as noble idealists, and some now celebrate Hamas.
American Jews are much less likely to support their own killing, kidnapping and torture than the average liberal (36%), but as many as 1 in 10 may be willing to accept Jewish genocide as the price of social justice
Now you see why some poor Jewish kids at Cooper Union had to flee to the basement just like the few lucky survivors in southern Israel fled to their safe rooms. Why Jews in Crown Heights -- Crown fucking Heights, the most Jewish neighborhood in NYC -- are warned to stay off their streets. Al Sharpton must be wetting himself in anticipation of a repeat times 1,000 of the 1991 pogrom he instigated. Why the first American town has now officially condemned Israel. And on and on as you can plainly see in the links below.
If I had a penny for every drop of ink or pixel that has been spilled pontificating on why Jews have become their own worst enemies, I could pay off the national debt a few thousand times over and still have change in my pocket. Much of it I think is self preservation. In the wake of the crusades, pogroms, inquisitions, expulsions and all the like, many Jews simply converted. Some took the idea of "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em" to the extreme by becoming even more rabidly anti-Semitic than their gentile tormenters. See Karl Marx, as a prime example.
Yet with the coming of Hitler in the 20th century, that wasn't going to cut it. As the late Holocaust historian Raul Hilberg put the progression of Jew hatred, (paraphrasing) "First, they declared 'You cannot live among us as Jews.' Then it became 'You cannot live among us,' which ultimately became 'You cannot live.'"
So between Israel itself holding back, regardless of whatever pressure is being put on them, and the sick twisted self-gassing Yids siding with their own butcherers, I just have to throw up my hands and think, what the fuck? Why even bother?
The answer I suppose is simple. It's still self-preservation, but unlike the scum who happen to be Jews via an accident of birth and nothing more, I don't intend to submit or stick my neck on the chopping block. The reason is simple. When these psychos are done with the Jews they'll be coming for everyone else. Right now, there are still more of us than them. But can that last?
The situation for sure is in doubt. Yet still we persist, as the saying goes.
Have a good weekend.
