You have certainly by now seen pictures or videos of vandals from Just Stop Oil spraying Stonehenge orange.
You might also have seen them doing similar vandalism to private jets at an airport where Taylor Swift flew into.
There is much anger being directed at these vandals, and demands for their punishment, but it is misdirected.
Like worker bees in a beehive, these activists are hard-working, passionate, and devoted, but ultimately they are disposable to the Queen Bees.
Who actually heads the Just Stop Oil hive? Well, it’s funded by philanthropaths with names like Disney, Kennedy, and Getty. I pointed this out in a recent piece at The Pipeline, Just Stop ‘Just Stop Oil’.
So who is funding Just Stop Oil and the Climate Emergency Fund? Its wealthy, left-wing benefactors include Rory Kennedy (daughter of the late Robert Kennedy), Abigail Disney, and co-founder, oil heiress Aileen Getty, among others.
The outrage and demands for retribution against Just Stop Oil’s street criminals has been passionate and sincere. I respect Robert Malone and share the passion he expressed in this tweet (below), but arresting two Just Stop Oil vandals is akin to swatting two mosquitoes. It doesn’t do anything to prevent more of the same.
I look at those two preeningly smugly self-assured vandal savages, sitting there cross-legged on the ground for their publicity photo shot after splashing one of the world’s most precious ancient historical sites with little more than their own vanity, and I think about dealing with them the way the folks who built Stonehenge might have.
Fine. But where is the desire for retribution against the powerful heads of the Hydra that fund Just Stop Oil and its criminal affiliates? In other words, where are the calls for civil or criminal actions against Rory Kennedy, Abigail Disney, and Aileen Getty, who funded the desecration of Stonehenge?
As I pointed out in that piece, the actions of groups funded by Climate Emergency Fund also include acts of terrorism such as sabotaging pipelines and spiking trees to cause harm to loggers.
Ms. Getty has made it clear that she supports the criminal acts that she funds, while trying to maintain a degree of separation from criminal culpability. “I proudly provide funding to the Climate Emergency Fund, which in turn makes grants to climate activists engaged in nonviolent legal civil disobedience, including Just Stop Oil, the group the activists represented. I do not fund these groups directly, nor do I have direct control over which specific actions climate activists choose to take.”
It's not enough to arrest the useful idiots committing crimes on behalf Just Stop Oil’s benefactors. Those affluent funders of criminal activity must face consequences themselves. If I may quote myself one more time…
What to do? For starters. the Climate Emergency Fund should be stripped of its 501(c)(3) status, and the prosecution of crimes committed under its umbrella can no longer just target the street “activists” committing the crimes. Those funding CEF are aware of where its money goes and how it is used. Claiming not to have “direct control over which specific actions climate activists choose to take” is not a defense against the willful funding of a group that is openly and actively using those funds to engage in criminal activity.
With the extensive dossier of Climate Emergency Fund and Just Say Oil now well documented, their big-money benefactors should be subject to legal repercussions unless they suspend further funding of this international conspiracy against law-abiding citizens and businesses.
My latest piece at The Pipeline, ”Whatever Happened to Rising Sea Levels?” has been published.
In it I discuss how the media fraudulently reported the loss of beach homes on a North Carolina barrier island as due to rising seas, when in fact it is due to naturally occurring shifting sands.
[The media] describes a barrier island as if it is the crown of an otherwise submerged mountain or coral atoll, and thus vulnerable to being completely submerged as the seas rise up around it. But barrier islands are nothing of the sort. They are impermanent deposits of sand, which reshape, move, merge, appear, and disappear due to tides, winds, and storms. The movement of barrier islands is not due to rising sea levels, it is due to a naturally occurring force called “longshore drift.”
I’d be honored if you’d give it a read.
