Not a joke: claiming that there is only one right answer (or "right" answer) to a math problem is white supremacy.
Minorities have "different ways of knowing" which must be respected. Wrong answers to math questions must be accepted as valid.
The Pittsburgh Public Schools Board has voted to hire a consulting group that educates teachers on how to replace "White supremacy culture practices" in math instruction with methods that center on the "wellness of students of color."
On October 25, the board approved a measure to give Quetzal Education Consulting $50,000 to dismantle racism in math classes.
As reported by The Center Square, the consulting group states that its workshops teach "antiracist math" and will help equip teachers with tools to "identify, disrupt and replace" practices that perpetuate White supremacy.
Ebony Pugh, the Director of Public Relations and Media Content for Pittsburgh Public Schools, confirmed to Fox News Digital that the Board of Directors of the School District of Pittsburgh authorized its offices to enter a contract with Quetzal.
The move will provide the school with "additional foundational knowledge of antiracist math pedagogy and tangible learning experiences that can be implemented with students."
Quetzal will provide support through introductory workshops for math teachers and a leadership series for administrators.
The school board's agenda for the meeting confirms the purpose of the introductory workshops, which will confront "oppressive practices in math instruction with practices that center the wellness of students of color and to provide opportunities for math departments and math teachers to grow their antiracist math praxis collaboratively in pedagogy and instruction."
It was also confirmed that participants in the leadership workshop series will "engage in an ongoing workshop series in the topic of antiracist math leadership."
"The purpose of this series is to equip educators who have completed the Antiracist Math Workshop Series Edition 1 to develop and lead towards a more cohesive and aligned math instruction praxis across classrooms, departments and schools. Participants will learn how to train others in the topic of antiracist math, as well as how to identify issues of equity in math spaces," the school board tab added.
Several schools, organizations and states have issued guidance and promoted teachers' programs that seek to remove racism from mathematics.
In 2021, the state of Oregon defended the "Pathways to Equitable Math Instruction" teacher training, which advises that a focus on finding the correct answer in class is an example of White supremacy infiltrating schools.
"The concept of mathematics being purely objective is unequivocally false, and teaching it is even much less so," a document for the "Equitable Math" toolkit reads. "Upholding the idea that there are always right and wrong answers perpetuate objectivity as well as fear of open conflict."
Similarly, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics hosted a webinar in 2022 that discussed antiracist math and asked to eliminate all examples of "tracking," which they claimed was a form of "spirit murdering" inflicted on children of color through math.
"Tracking" just means separating students into different groups based on ability in that subject. So that slow kids can get the remedial teaching they need, while more advanced kids can do more advanced things, without forever being slowed down by remedial stuff like "2 + 2 = 4."
It's now racist, and we must now all move at the pace of the slowest students. Smarter kids must not be permitted to get too far ahead of the dumb kids.
Have we had enough of this Harrison Bergeron hellscape yet or do we have to do more penance for George Floyd overdosing on methamphetamines in the vicinity of a cop?
The state of Massachusetts issued a $1.4 million reimbursement to Boston Children's Hospital for providing sex change procedures to minors, according to records obtained by the Daily Caller.
The children's hospital performed 204 "gender-affirming surgeries" on minors between 2017 to 2020, which included 65 chest surgeries. The youngest patient was 15-years-old, records show. The Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) of Massachusetts told the outlet that the more than one million dollar reimbursement was for the hospital's "gender transition services" between 2015 and 2023. The services provided included surgical procedures, prescription drugs, therapies, physician and hospital services, and inpatient and outpatient treatments.
Boston Children's Hospital came under fire in 2022 after it was revealed that it performs sex change procedures on minors. The world-renowned hospital proudly boasts that it became the first in the country to create a pediatric and adolescent transgender health program. However, due to backlash, the hospital removed its webpage which included videos about sex change surgeries, gender dysphoria, and steps on how to talk to family and friends about wanting to transition, according to the outlet.
While the hospital removed the website, it has been archived and the hospital explains when parental or nonparental consent is needed to transition genders.
The hospital requires patients as young as 15 years of age who want to have top surgery to have parental consent or a letter from a "medical doctor or nurse practitioner stating that you have 'persistent, well documented, gender dysphoria,'" the website states.
Patients ages 17 can receive vaginoplasty without parental consent, but the hospital will not perform penis construction surgeries (phalloplasty or a metoidioplasty) until they reach 18 years of age.
So they'll cut a fake never-healing wound into a boy to simulate a vagina at 17, but won't build a fake Frankendick for a girl until she's 18.

Dozens of famous bird species will lose their familiar names in the coming months and years as part of a nationwide effort to eliminate monikers "clouded by racism" and to diversify bird-watching.
The American Ornithological Society, which is responsible for standardizing English bird names across the Americas, announced plans Wednesday to ditch any bird classifications derived from a person's name, instead identifying them by their physical traits or their habitats.
Although not all fowl named after people are linked to unsavory histories, the undertaking mainly aims to purge names connected to racism, misogyny and genocide, the AOS said.
Birds with names "deemed offensive and exclusionary" will also be rechristened.
"As scientists, we work to eliminate bias in science. But there has been historic bias in how birds are named, and who might have a bird named in their honor," AOS Executive Director and CEO Judith Scarl, Ph.D., said in a statement.
"Exclusionary naming conventions developed in the 1800s, clouded by racism and misogyny, don't work for us today, and the time has come for us to transform this process and redirect the focus to the birds, where it belongs."
...
That means that the Audubon's shearwater, a seabird native to the southeastern United States, will no longer be linked to John James Audubon, the founder of the eponymous New York City birding community and slave owner who opposed abolition.
...
Some birds have already undergone the change.
The Thick-billed Longspur, a small ground-feeding bird native to North America, was renamed in 2020 after nearly three centuries of being named for Captain John P. McCown, a Confederate soldier who is "perceived today by many as a symbol of slavery and racism," the AOS said.

The Diversity Communicator informs us that bird names are like statues of confederates and that we must pull down all statues.
Many birds are named after the person who actually identified them as a separate species, not just "in honor" of that person. It used to be considered fair play that the discoverer of something gets to name it, but no, that's gone. The people who get to name things -- or re-name them, as they never discover or create, just re-name, re-make, and destroy -- are the wokies, who contribute nothing to society but misery and chaos.
This bullshit was pushed by the Locus of All Evil, the Washington Post, which did a "journalism" piece objecting to racist bird names last year.
And this is all part of the "Why don't black people hike?" movement. Black people don't do something that white people do, like hiking, bird-watching, or yoga, so we have to change the thing that white people do to make it "inviting" to black people, because black people can't go on a hike in the woods unless white people "invite them" into "white spaces," like the fucking woods.
Girl who looks like a girl is outraged that people think she's a girl. She has a red mullet, she wants you to know.
These are the creepy lunatics demanding they be put in a position of authority over normal people's children.
New York taxi driver drives recklessly to harass another driver whose car has an Israeli flag on it. He's been reported. Hopefully he will be deported.
No big deal, just a teacher reading a pro-Hamas poem containing the Israel-eradication line "from the river to the sea."
You've probably already seen this -- I think I linked it -- but it's chilling: A man in the UK disrespected the Palestinian flag. Police descended upon his home and arrested him.

Elon Musk spoke to Joe Rogan about the environmental death cult, and other things.
A philosophy is being "piped to Earth," and "It's a death cult... They are propagating the extinction of humanity and civilization."
Listen to the whole context. He's responding to Joe's prompt to tell us why he bought Twitter, and --warning that it would sound melodramatic -- he says he thought that Twitter had taken the mindset of the San Francisco area and amplified it and made it dominant to the point where all life on Earth was in danger. There's quite a lot of talk of the "Extinctionist" movement, and the phrase "death cult" is used repeatedly.
"If you take environmentalism to an extreme," Musk says, "You start to view humanity as a plague on the surface of the earth, like a mold or something." He asserts that the Earth could do well with 10 times as many people as we have now.
ADDED: Musk goes on to talk about AI: "If AI gets programmed by the Extinctionists, it's utility function will be the extinction of humanity."
AND: He asserts that Twitter had become "an arm of the government" -- "a state publication." But: "Old Twitter was completely controlled by the far left." I think I see his point, but those statements don't fit together. The government is not the far left, so both can't be in complete control.
