Tierra Allen -- better known to her 182,800 followers as "Sassy Trucker" -- has been stuck in the strict country since authorities whisked away her passport, the nonprofit group Detained in Dubai revealed Monday.
The Houston social media star, 29, claims the screaming stemmed from a verbal tussle between herself and the manager of a local car rental shop when she stopped in to pick up her personal belongings in April.
Allen's credit cards, debit cards and cellphone had been impounded along with her rental car the day before the blowup, after she and her friend were involved in a minor traffic accident near the Arabian Gulf.
The manager allegedly demanded money in exchange for the possessions and reacted with hostility toward Allen.
"He followed me outside the office and I felt very intimidated. I told him to stop but instead, he called the police and opened a case against me, apparently for 'screaming,'" Allen claims.
"I am in shock that he frightened me, I told him to stop, and now the police have said I can't go home. I told them I had a medical emergency and needed to return to the US but they wouldn't let me."

Senate looks to limit government's ability to interrogate political prisoners without their lawyers present, and build a Stasi file on them by collecting their public media postings.
The Senate Intelligence Committee has approved legislation that would curtail a controversial domestic intelligence program that let Department of Homeland Security officials interrogate jailed Americans without their lawyers present.
The proposal was passed last month in the committee's bill governing the intelligence community, but it was not widely noticed. It would significantly limit the type of people that DHS's intelligence officials can question as part of their domestic intelligence work. It also aims to curtail those officials' authority to collect Americans' social media posts and use them in intelligence products.
In March, POLITICO reported that officials in the DHS' Office of Intelligence and Analysis had been questioning people in prisons, jails and immigration detention centers without their lawyers present. The practice concerned civil liberties advocates, who said conversations between incarcerated people and government officials are inherently coercive.

The Women's World Cup Soccer tournament got underway on Saturday in Aukland, New Zealand. The team won handily over Vietnam by a score of 3-0. But it was what didn't take place before the game that is really beginning to irk fans about this team, and some even are actively rooting against them. The Vietnamese team all put hand over heart and sang their national anthem, "Tien Quan Ca," or "Song of a Marching Army." The reaction by the American women at the playing of the "Star Spangled Banner," however, was markedly different. There was complete silence by all but a few members of the team. It is that silence that has many fans plenty ticked off and they voiced their anger on social media.
One tweet asked, "Can someone teach [the United States Women's Soccer team] the words to the 'Star Spangled Banner'? Their silence was deafening." Former NYPD Commissioner Bernard Kerik called it out for exactly what it was, "an international embarrassment [sic]." He added, "No one should be allowed to wear the American flag, and represent the U.S. if they don't believe in it. Most of them don't even know the words." While many of the social justice "statements" like kneeling during the playing of the anthem, begun by former NFL player Colin Kaepernick in 2016, have had their 15 minutes of fame and are not as prominent as they once were, the U.S. Women's soccer team has apparently decided to carry on the dubious tradition.
