Fox & Friends co-host Lawrence Jones tells Nikki Haley that "average Republican" just doesn't have "an appetite" for her dubious campaign.

The pro-Hamas media is whining that Israel killed two Palestinian "journalists."

Surprise! They were connected to terrorist groups.

The Israel Defense Forces on Wednesday two said two men identified as Al Jazeera journalists who were killed in a strike in southern Gaza's Rafah earlier this week were members of terror organizations in the Strip.

In Sunday's strike in Rafah, Hamza Wael Dahdouh, the son of Al Jazeera's Gaza correspondent Wael Dahdouh, and Mustafa Thuria, a video stringer for AFP who was also working for the Qatar-based TV outlet, were both killed. A third journalist, Hazem Rajab, was seriously wounded, Al Jazeera said.

The strike was carried out after the IDF said it spotted a terror operative piloting a drone in a way that endangered Israeli forces, and subsequently hit a car they were in.

After initially appearing to walk back the claim the pair were with a terror operative, the IDF said its intelligence confirmed both were members of Gaza-based terror groups and were "actively involved in attacks against IDF forces."

It said Thuria was identified by a document found by troops in Gaza as a member of Hamas's Gaza City Brigade, serving as a deputy squad commander in one of the battalions.

Frankly, I wouldn't care if they were "real" "journalists." It's a war; people get killed in wars, even -- and I know this is shocking -- our precious "journalists," who are much more important than civilians and must never, ever be harmed.

I'm so sick of this idea, pushed, of course, by "journalists," that "journalists" are the one group on earth who must never be criticized because that "puts them in danger" and makes people send "death threats" to them.

"Journalists'" entire racket consists of targeting other people for vicious abuse that results in all of their like-minded partisans sending death threats and actual bombs to the people "journalists" don't like, but "journalists" claim that they alone should be protected from such criticism and rabble-rousing, despite the fact that they target everyone else with venomous hatred.

INCLUDING CHILDREN, who are "journalists'" favorite targets lately.

Stop whining and crying, you miserable cowards and moral monsters.

The Federalist: Gen Z women are abandoning the "girlboss" false ideal and embracing the "tradwife" model.

It would be nice, if true.

Is it true?

Who knows, let's find out.

For many women, who increasingly report "persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness" and disillusionment with the "girlboss" lifestyle, these [traditionalist female or "tradwife"] influencers offer an idyllic alternative to urban life. They are illuminating a deeper hunger among women, especially among Generation Z.

A quick search on Google Trends shows that the term "tradwife" gained popularity in 2018 but peaked in 2020 as the pandemic accelerated women's return to the home. Instead of being confined to religious or ultra-wealthy women, the tradwife movement entered mainstream discussions. It offered women the chance to reclaim the ingredients of happiness -- faith, family, community, and meaningful work -- back from the career-focused model they grew up with.

Popular online accounts (explored here and here) tend to show women who don the clothes and lifestyle that they perceive women in a previous era embodied: shirtwaist dresses, aprons, a rejection of formal work outside the home, and a heavy emphasis on homemaking and care for children.

...

It's worth considering why Gen Z women, who have the most professional opportunities and fewest barriers to education, work, and politics, would flock in large numbers to tradwife influencers....

For Gen Z women who have observed the unhappy zero-sum game that is the battle of the sexes, many feel that the modern world, for all its promises, has failed them.

Oh no! Fruit Stripe gum is being discontinued after 60 years!

Ferrara Foods announced earlier in January that its Fruit Stripe chewing gum will no longer be available to purchase.

"We have made the difficult decision to sunset Fruit Stripe Gum, but consumers may still be able to find the product at select retailers nationwide," a spokesperson for Ferrera Foods said in a statement. "The decision to sunset this product was not taken lightly, and we considered many factors before coming to this decision, including consumer preferences, and purchasing patterns."

Yesterday I wrote about the Brooklyn school whose students were kicked out so that the school could be used to shelter illegal aliens.

I said that the district had voted 75% for Biden.

Well, the congressional district may have voted overwhelmingly for Biden, but the actual area served by the school voted for, get this, Trump.

What a surprise that the corrupt New York City government kicks out Republicans' children to make way for the illegals!

It was probably just a complete coincidence they chose the neighborhood which just happened to be one of the few Republican-leaning enclaves in Brooklyn, huh?

The San Francisco City Council declared, without any authority to do so, a ceasefire in Gaza, and then celebrated their Stunning Bravery in having taken this meaningless non-action.
