Chicago's woke mayor Brandon Johnson, who doesn't believe in punishing criminals, takes full advantage of of his own policy.
-- It's been five weeks since we reported that Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson's motorcade SUVs had racked up 11 red light and speed camera tickets during his first five months in office. Perhaps the mayor saw our report as a challenge because his drivers have scored eight more citations since then.
For those keeping score, Johnson's police-driven SUVs have collected 19 tickets since he took office on May 15. That's about three per month. As of this morning, Johnson's drivers owe the city $1,725 for outstanding violations. Their debts have more than doubled since our October report.
Some of the violations revealed in this story occurred before our October story was published, but they only recently appeared in the city's citation database.
Among the motorcade car's latest violations are speed camera citations that accuse the mayor's drivers of whipping through school and park zones at highway speeds: 53 mph one time and 55 mph another.
Here's one of Brandon's SUVs driving 55 mph in the 5400 block of West Irving Park Road, adjacent to Portage Park, around 11:30 a.m. on September 25.
The city has yet to collect its $100 for that performance. You may have noticed the SUV's police emergency lights were activated. That begs the question: What's the big emergency, mayor?
That's dangerous. He's going to murder a fucking child, and then we'll be regaled with stories that he's "turning his life around" and "thinking about going to community college" and "maybe recording a rap album."
FBI whistleblower Steve Friend has a warning for Americans: our bloated bureaucracy sees We the People as its "primary enemy."
Friend is a former FBI agent, a fellow at the Center for Renewing America, and co-host of "American Radicals" podcast. He speaks truths the government would prefer to keep hidden on many platforms, including on Twitter/X.

His internal knowledge of the FBI and government bureaucracy led him to make a chilling comparison on Dec. 3. Hydra Host co-founder Aaron Ginn had noted, "The FBI went to great lengths to track down every grandma and grandpa associated with Jan 6th. In the last two months, we have terrorist sympathizers waving the Palestinian flag and wearing a keffiyeh in our streets and they do nothing."
Why would that be? Friend had an answer. "The @FBI is wholly focused on targeting political conservatives and Christians for engaging in 1st Amendment protected activities. It is an intelligence gathering agency willing and able to inflict violence to deprive people of their freedom. The FBI is the KGB," he said, referring to the former Soviet secret police/intelligence.
Biden has now reached the lowest approval rating of his miserable presidency. The most intentionally inept U.S. president in history stood at just 37 percent approval in November, two points less than in October, and the lowest since he assumed office in January 2021.
Check out the steady decline:
November 2023: 37 percent
October 2023: 39 percent
August 2023: 39 percent
July 2023: 41 percent
December 2022: 46 percent
June 2022: 38 percent
October 2021: 50 percent
March 2021: 51 percent
...
Fittingly, despite Biden's incessant crowing (lying) about the wonders of Bidenomics, and how everything in the country is rainbows and unicorns for everyday Americans, the struggling economy remains the top issue among likely voters -- and the president's greatest vulnerability. His approval rating in November on the economy was the second-lowest of his presidency, at just 33 percent -- one in three Americans.
November 2023: 33 percent
October 2023: 36 percent
May 2023: 34 percent
December 2022: 36 percent
June 2022: 30 percent
December 2021: 45 percent
March 2021: 49 percent
Biden's rating on "helping the middle class" has fallen from 50% to... 35%.
Jake Tapper your tears are so delicious. Think about Clarence Thomas so I can get some Cherry Hi-C tears flowing
An Iranian-born pro-Hamas professor at, get this, Oberlin College has been suspended, but not for his open support of terrorism and hardcore antisemitic rhetoric. That's what got him the job in the first place!
No, he's being suspended for allegedly making his students f*** him for grades.
A college professor of "peace" accused of teaching support for Hamas has been suspended from his tenured post at an ultra-liberal school after allegations he once ran a sex-for-grades scheme came to light.
Iranian citizen Mohammad Jafer Mahallati -- who has called for the elimination of Israel and backed the murderous fatwa against Salman Rushdie -- was discreetly put on indefinite administrative leave by Oberlin College, Ohio, and scrubbed from its website last month after the administration learned he had previously been accused of sexual harassment.
The college is currently being investigated by the federal Department of Education after a complaint that it abused the civil rights of Jewish students by allegedly letting Mahallati speak in favor of Hamas and give credit for writing anti-Israel screeds.
The move by Oberlin to suspend Mahallati, 71, comes amid mounting fury at colleges' failure to grapple with antisemitism in the wake of the October 7 massacre of 1,200 Israelis by terrorist group Hamas.
...
Mahallati's suspension came after court papers surfaced from the 1990s which revealed that when he was an adjunct professor at Columbia University, he had been accused of giving a graduate student 11 years his junior good grades in return for sex....
The woman, then 32 and a Palestinian Christian, met Mahallati, a 43-year-old married father of a young son, when she began to minor in Middle East Studies in September1995, she alleged in court papers.
She alleged that under the pretense of interviewing her as a potential research assistant, Mahallati invited the student to his home, "made repeated sexual advances" and promised good grades in exchange for sexual encounters, which allegedly took place at his office as well as his Manhattan apartment for 15 months.
Mahallati allegedly told the woman that he would withhold her grade if she did not keep silent. She alleged that when she went to Columbia's administration in April 1997 he accused her of handing the same paper in twice, which would have been fraudulent.
...
At Oberlin, Mahallati became the subject of a federal probe this fall when the Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights revealed that it was investigating a complaint that he taught students "support for Hamas and terrorism" as part of a larger probe into anti-Semitism on Oberlin's campus.
Oberlin College. Never saw that one coming.
David Strom writes that consequences might be coming for one of the three college presidents who insisted that it calling for genocide against Jews was allowed speech on their campuses. As Strom says, I think we'd all support a real absolutist devotion to free speech -- if that's what this was.
But it's not. As Instapundit keeps pointing out, Harvard professor Amy Wax is being investigated with an eye to revoking her tenure because she lightly questioned the value of affirmative action. She didn't argue against it. She merely wondered about it.
And on all of these campuses, using the wrong (government name: accurate) pronouns will expose you to disciplinary hearings, reeducation, and expulsion or firing, if you do not obey the speech police.
You might also get chased and trapped in a closet by violent transsexuals, with the university silently blessing their actions:
Riley Gaines
@Riley_Gaines_
It only took the beheading, rape, & torture of innocent civilians for universities to become free speech enthusiasts
But don't you dare call a man a man. Or else.
But now they claim that with regard to their Browner-Skinned students literally calling for the murder of some of their Lighter-Skinned students, well, you know -- we have an absolute commitment to the First Amendment as set forth in that document we cherish so very much, the Constitution of the United States of America, and we will not sit here and allow the name of America to be besmirched. Gentlemen!
This isn't about Free Speech, it's about Free Speakers -- some Speakers, the Brown Ones, have absolute rights to say whatever they want on campus, while Lighter Colored Ones have almost no rights to say anything.
And that is definitely not in the Constitution.
Strom thinks that Liz Magill, President of the University of Pennsylvania, will be fired, because the Democrat governor of that state wants her gone, and because she actually smirked while being interrogated about her viciously-bent double standards by Elise Stefanik.
Magill, who I know as Magill, released a "hostage video" clarifying that when she said that calling for genocide against Jewish students was not against the rules of UPenn, she had completely forgotten about all the genocide that had actually been conducted against Jews -- whoops! Slipped her mind! -- and so she would like to now amend her prior answer to say it is against the rules.
A rabbi has resigned from Harvard's committee on antisemitism, citing the Harvard's embrace of the "oppressor/oppressed" paradigm as leaving out any possible recognition that Jews may have also suffered.

[T]he system at Harvard along with the ideology that grips far too many of the students and faculty, the ideology that works only along axes of oppression and places Jews as oppressors and therefore intrinsically evil, is itself evil. Ignoring Jewish suffering is evil. Belittling or denying the Jewish experience, including unspeakable atrocities, is a vast and continuing catastrophe. Denying Israel the self-determination as a Jewish nation accorded unthinkingly to others is endemic, and evil.
I wouldn't mind that insight being extended to non-Jewish whites.
The leftwing Democrat Socialist Party -- the DSA -- wants to "decolonize" America by taking land away from whites.
This based old woman in Gaza refuses to let a corrupt Hamas-apologist "journalist" twist her words. She says that little of the aid given to Hamas reaches the people. The "journalist" falsely interprets these words as meaning "only a little aid is sent, but it is distributed."
She waves her finger and says "no, it all goes to their (Hamas') houses."
