After Hamas broke yet another ceasefire by sending terrorists to murder civilians at a bus stop, Israel began pounding Hamas positions.
The Israel Defense Forces resumed its military offensive in the Gaza Strip on Friday after a week-long truce as the Hamas terror group broke the ceasefire, firing rockets into Israel and failing to provide a list of hostages it intended to release by 7 a.m.
In response, the IDF said it was renewing combat seven days after fighting ceased, during which time 105 civilians were released from Hamas captivity in Gaza, including 81 Israelis, 23 Thai nationals, and 1 Filipino, in exchange for 210 Palestinian prisoners, all of them women or minors. Israel also allowed an influx of humanitarian aid into the Strip.
Still held hostage by Gaza terror groups when the truce collapsed were 137 people -- 115 men, 20 women and two children -- government spokesperson Eylon Levy said. Ten of the hostages are 75 and older. The vast majority of the hostages, 126, are Israeli. Eleven are foreign nationals, including eight from Thailand.
Palestinian Health Authorities report that the renewed offensive had destroyed 47 hospitals and has killed 440,000 Palestinian civilians, including 750,000 children and 5 million dogs. Christiane Amanpour was the first American Journalist to report the scoop.
DeSantis had some fun with Gavin Newsom last night. Apparently he just countered Newsom's lies with fact after fact, and even deployed the Poop Map as a prop.
Mocking Newsom's claim that California is "the Freedom State," DeSantis points out that :
DeSantis: "California does have freedoms that other states don't. You have the freedom to defecate in public. You have the freedom to pitch a tent on Sunset Boulevard. You have the freedom to create a homeless camp and even light it on fire. You have the freedom to have an open air drug market and use drugs. You have the freedom if you're an illegal alien to get these taxpayer benefits. So those are freedoms--they're not freedoms our founding fathers envisioned but they have contributed to the destruction of the quality of life in California. People are leaving the state because they have failed to addressing the homeless population."
When Newsom tried to claim that Florida censors school books, DeSantis whipped out a pornographic page from Gender Queer.
Joe Rogan: The Democrats' mad quest to imprison Donald Trump is "Banana Republic tactics."
Zelenskyy: Providing support for Israel hurts Ukraine's war effort.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told the Associated Press in an interview published Friday that "only the blind" cannot see that his country has lost attention and support following the Hamas atrocities against Israel on October 7, which prompted an ongoing war to eradicate the terrorist organization.
Zelensky promised he would "fight for attention" for his war against Russia, particularly in the United States, where he warned "there may be weakness" in the will of Congress to spend more money on weapons for his country.
Pro-Hamas protesters protest at the lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. But we totally have to respecc the Muslim holidays!
A counter-protester showed up with... An American flag. Pro-Hamas agitators screamed "alluha ackbar" and tried to rip it from his hands.

Speaking of people who brutalize children: The school shut-downs demanded by the teachers unions have resulted in kids just never coming back to school.
Extreme levels of student absence have spiked in schools across the country since the pandemic began, according to data released Friday by Attendance Works, a nonprofit research initiative.
Why it matters: Students haven't recovered from pandemic learning losses, and widespread absences affect entire schools, not just the missing students.
Nearly 30% of students (14.7 million) were chronically absent during the 2021-22 school year, meaning they missed 10% or more of the year.
What's happening: The figures are more stark for students in schools with higher poverty rates.
Nearly 70% of high-poverty schools experienced chronic absenteeism in 2021-22, up from 25% before the pandemic.
66% of students attended a school with extreme or high levels of chronic absence in 2021-22.
Preliminary 2022-23 data suggests that absences slightly improved the following school year, the New York Times reported.
Threat level: Chronic absenteeism widens inequities, said Hedy Chang, the executive director and president of Attendance Works.

Twenty-four hours ago, Keith Olbermann heroically vowed to never use X/Twitter again, because Elon Musk had tweeted a meme that included the word "pizzagate."
You will never guess what happened next. Or maybe you would -- today, the degenerate Twitter Addict and attention junkie Keith Olbermann is back on Twitter. He couldn't kick his drama monkey habit for a day.
Dolls' Lives Matter:
The New Downtown of San Francisco.
The shelves of a DC drug store are empty of household necessities like toothpaste, deodorant, and toilet paper -- picked clean by thieves.
But just outside the store, a bum has set up a table selling the same goods looted from the drug store. What a coincidence!
And the police do nothing. Crime is now legal.
