Antifa-linked far-left militants are fundraising for the release and legal aid of a Florida far-left trans activist accused of murdering a man, setting fire to his home and burglarizing his property.
Matthew Daniel Temael, who uses the alias and trans name "Dandelion," was arrested in September over the March murder of a man in Hawthorne, Putnam County, Fla. The 23-year-old Minnesota native is accused of stabbing Louis Stackhouse to death and then setting his mobile home on fire before going on the run with the victim's vehicle. Temael was found driving the stolen 2008 Saturn Sky in Tampa during a traffic stop. Temael attempted to flee but was caught.
The website of extremist antifa-linked group, Anarchist Federation, put out a fundraising notice on Nov. 19 about Temael, who uses "she/her" pronouns.
"Dandelion is a transfemme Palauan youth anarchist incarcerated in Florida," reads the post. "We aim to free her and help support her needs while she is inside."
Temael was indicted by a Putnam County grand jury on charges of first-degree homicide, first-degree arson, burglary and vehicle theft. Because a judge denied Temael bond, the far-left activists say funds raised for their comrade will go to "maintaining inside contact, software, or other materials," as well as support for other "marginalized relatives in captivity with her." Toward the end of the campaign, it says the money will also go to the unnamed people running the campaign.

Temael's LinkedIn says she was a student at Augsburg University in Minneapolis until 2021 studying "Youth Studies."

Adherents of the "prison abolition" ideology believe there should never be prison time for comrades, no matter the nature of the crime. Antifa members and far-left allies in Portland, Ore. fundraised and covered the $2.1 million state bond for Malik Fard Muhammad in 2021, who was later convicted of multiple counts of attempted murder. In February this year, Oakland prison abolitionist Jennifer Angel was dragged to her death during a violent robbery. Her family and friends asked prosecutors not to jail her accused assailant(s), who are black.

Jennifer Sey is angry about the New York Times' claim that evidence has just come to light! that the school closures inflicted learning losses on children never before seen in America, even during world wars.
The evidence was always present, and obvious.
It was all obvious -- the learning loss, the disengagement from education overall, the depression and anxiety and suicidality due to severe isolation (often summarized as "mental health impacts"), the chronic absenteeism, the drop out rates, the graduating without being able to read, the abuse at home, the loss of community and hope . . . I could go on. And on. And of course, the poorest, most vulnerable children were harmed the most.
But if anyone pointed that out in real time, we were called racists and able-ists and eugenicists. Among many other career-destroying smears.
It's nice that The New York Times has caught on now. But in this accurate oh-so-too-late piece, they fail to acknowledge their own complicity in extending and furthering the devastating, ineffective and morally abhorrent school closures during 2020-2021, with restrictions to children continuing for more than a year after schools actually opened everywhere in the Fall of 2021.
They elevated the voices of those who furthered fear with a schools needs to be closed or else all the children and teachers will die hysteria.
Sey also points out that it was the Times "reporter" Apoorva Mandavilli who consistently published fake numbers to scare parents about the threat posed to children by covid. She claimed that 900,000, almost a million, children had been hosptalized "with" covid. Actual number: 63,000. She faked the number with a 14x falsification factor.
But the Times continues to leave this unhinged propagandist and liar as its main covid "journalist."
The left pretended that covid was a threat to children because their leftwing communist teachers union allies demanded it, and because it was critical to their 2020 playbook to put the United States into a condition of utter chaos -- to claim it was Trump's fault the country was on fire and the schools were all closed, and only electing Biden would fix that.

Chances are you have never heard of him because he wasn't exactly Augustus. More like a cut-rate Caligula without even the historical impact or ancestry of his similarly crazy fellow emperor.
Elagabalus was a Syrian Arab teen, elevated to the throne after a revolt displaced his predecessor. Known primarily for his incompetence and sexual deviancy, he also violated Roman religious traditions, displacing Jupiter (the King of the Roman Gods) with his own chosen God for whom he was a priest.
Elagabalus (his name derives from the God he worshipped) was sexually omnivorous, although his tendencies were primarily heterosexual. He was married six times, including to one Vestal Virgin (a big no-no). He was utterly uninterested in governing.
His behavior estranged the Praetorian Guard, the Senate and the common people alike. Amidst growing opposition, at just 18 years of age he was assassinated and replaced by his cousin Severus Alexander in March 222. The assassination plot against Elagabalus was devised by Julia Maesa and carried out by disaffected members of the Praetorian Guard.

This study is unreliable and the headline inaccurate and alarmist.
The 675 year old remains of 49 people who died of the Black Death were analysed and 9 were found to be "probably" black.
The Black Death killed over half of London. Making it a racism issue is nonsensical.
Too many organisations (and news outlets) use misleading race statistics to alarm ethnic minorities and whip up tensions around history and racism.
