Politico's Jonathan Martin previews the next year: Biden is not able to campaign or govern as a normal healthy man would, and the press is going to have to help him disguised that fact.

For Biden to win reelection... he must make changes. I spoke with dozens of Democrats and anti-Trump Republicans about what the president can do on personnel, presentation and strategy to improve his prospects. Their suggestions (pleadings?) are below.

The level of despair was striking. Since beginning this column a year ago, I've written repeatedly about the chasm between what Democrats say in private versus public about Biden. Yet perhaps not since Trump's 2016 election have the party's leaders and lawmakers been so alarmed.

What's notable is both the uniformity of these anxieties -- there's no faction in denial -- and how they mirror the discontent of the broader public.

Far from being merely the stuff of "Beltway chatter," as Biden's aides dismiss any criticism, there's no divergence between Democratic elites and the electorate. That's because the main causes for concern are clear as day: Biden's age and the cost of living.

...

For Biden to use fundraisers, as he did Thursday, to deny his difficulties and complain about press coverage may be therapeutic, but it doesn't make him any likelier to defeat Trump once more.

2024 will be an extraordinary election, and it demands extraordinary measures.

That's in part for reasons Biden refuses to accept: his capacity to do the job. The oldest president in history when he first took the oath, Biden will not be able to govern and campaign in the manner of previous incumbents. He simply does not have the capacity to do it, and his staff doesn't trust him to even try, as they make clear by blocking him from the press. Biden's bid will give new meaning to a Rose Garden campaign, and it requires accommodation to that unavoidable fact of life.

"Requires accommodation" is an order to his fellow propagandists to pretend that it's completely normal for Biden to run another Deathbed Campaign.

Moreover, and on this Biden would agree, this election will be exceptional because of the threat Trump poses.

The media has its mandate to lie like it's never lied before.

Charles Cooke responded to this article stating that it's not merely "unprecedented" that Biden is running for an office that even his most wild-eyed propagandists admit he is incapable of serving in -- in fact, it's "disqualifying."

Of course!

Younger people are turning away from sex, and not for morality-based reasons, and tenured radicals are demanding that bestiality be made a judgement-free no-stigma pastime.

In 10 years, the number of 18 to 30-year-olds reporting having no sexual partners in the last year jumped by 16%, according to a survey from UCLA which found that younger generations have fewer sexual partners than older adults despite our hypersexualized society.

Vivian Rhodes, a 28-year-old certified nursing assistant in California, spoke to the LA Times about the way she and a lot of other Gen Zs view sex. "Some people assume this is about shaming other people, and it's not," said Rhodes. "I'm glad people have fun with it, and it works for them. But I think sex is kind of gross. It seems very messy, and it's vulnerable in a way that I think would be very uncomfortable."

They are Forever Children and unashamed of it.

It's who they are, as a wise man says.

In Daily Disney Disaster news, rumors say that the Fake Captain America movie was delayed so that it could be almost completely reshot --because the current version is hyperpolitical and features an orange-hued president who stages an insurrection.

According to Jeff Sneider of "The Hot Mic" podcast, the movie is being moved to a 2025 release after not preforming well in screening tests.

"The delay was primarily due to the Hollywood strikes, but a follow-up report claimed that the latest Captain America adventure did not go over particularly well in test screenings. Apparently, three key sequences have been cut, and reshoots are planned from January until May/June of next year," reports ComicBookMovie.

That's a planned five months of reshoots. Of course, reshoots are common, but it looks like there were enough problems with the film that major changes to the story have to be made in an attempt to salvage it.

An anonymous 4chan user who claims to have been at a Los Angeles test screening--I won't link to the post because I cannot verify the claim--says that the film is much more political than the Marvel series "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier," from which the film continues. He claims the plot revolves around politics, the president, and an election. And who goes to a Marvel Studios movie for that? The user also claims the president in the film is a Trump proxy and the story devolves into a January 6 metaphor.

I didn't give that claim much credence, but WDW_Pro says he's heard "similar things." But he also can't confirm that. So we have similar rumors floating out there but multiple rumors do not add up to one confirmation. Still... five months of reshoots? (And not "3-4 months," as I said yesterday.) That's refilming the entire movie. There is something about the entire movie that makes it unreleasable. And as I mentioned earlier, the Fake Captain America's first appearance in "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" was expressly, repulsively pro-terrorist, so just making yet another Trump Derangement Syndrome story would be very on-brand.

Oh, and relatedly: DC's attempt to make Gay Green Lantern (Rainbow Lantern?) a thing failed, obviously.

The released pages of this Very Special Story featured the original Green Lantern -- I'll just call him Gay Lantern-- being blackmailed by J. Edgar Hoover for being gay. And also, sexually dominated by J. Edgar Hoover.

Hey Kids! Comics!
The poor-selling twink went on YouTube to tell people to buy Gay Lantern to Own the Chuds.

"I'm here to ask you a favor. The book comes out next DC Tuesday, October 24th, but already the haters and the queerphobes are out in force, doing everything they can to see that this book tanks. They use code and make it sound like they have legit problems with a book they haven't read yet. But the truth is they just don't like that there is a queer hero in the upper ranks of the DCU," writer Tim Sheridan said in a post on X/Twitter.

"The only way we can shut these people down is to make this book an undeniable success," he continued. "The only way to prove to the big publishers that there's a huge market for authentic stories about LGBTQIA+ characters and these stories are for everyone is to buy the heck out of books like this."

Spoiler: People did not buy the stupid Gay Lantern book.

According to Bounding Into Comics, the gay Green Lantern comic "failed to break into the top 50 most sold comic books by units list. It also failed to break into the top 50 most sold comic books by dollars list."

"It's not in the top 50. So if it's not in the top 50 of books that means the sales of it are absolutely atrocious. People were not picking this up," PJ Media contributor Jon Del Arroz, who also writes at Bounding Into Comics, told the site. "It's not selling. It's just not there. So this is a huge, huge destructive loss for DC Comics once again as they're trying to push this agenda everywhere they go, yet nobody wants it."

There's a trick these idiots do. They scan Amazon's niche-category bestseller lists at the exact moment their book is listed on Amazon. Usually there are advanced sales that suddenly get credited as sales the moment the book officially drops. That's usually good enough to get their book near the top of the niche-category list for literally several minutes. They take a quick screenshot and claim the book is a "best-seller."

But I haven't heard of this guy bragging about being on the niche-category best seller list for 1-3 minutes so I guess it didn't sell enough even for that cheesy trick to save it.

The comics industry is in full collapse. Comicshistorian, a YouTuber who used to make big money just telling people what happened in comic books, is threatening to "pivot" his site to something else, because no one is interested in comic books any longer. The owner of a chain of comics shops in the southeast put out an emergency distress signal informing DC and Marvel that the retail comics industry had just two years left before implosion unless they change their ways.

The bizarre thing about the MCU's implosion is that Marvel tested out all of the woke ideas in the current MCU six years ago in the "All New, All Different" Marvel era, which also replaced all the unfashionably white male characters with New and Different Diverse replacements. That initiative completely failed, beginning the current death-spiral.

And yet Kevin Feige decided that was the plan he would pursue, despite years worth of sales data proving it was a path to doom. Just because he's a weak, incompetent manlet who is easily bullied by stronger, more assertive women and gays.

Gavin Newsom and Mayor London Breed just moved out the homeless shooting up and shitting in the streets so that the city would look nice for its future Chinese Communist Party owners.

But they didn't bother moving out the packs of savage, brazen bandits.

A Czech television news crew was robbed while covering the annual Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in San Francisco, according to reports.

Journalist Bohumil Vostal told the San Francisco Chronicle he was getting a shot of City Lights Bookstore "when three masked assailants approached with guns pointed."

"They were heading at my camera man, aiming a gun at his stomach, and one at my head," Vostal said. He added the incident happened around 5 p.m. Sunday.

The San Francisco Police Department confirmed to KTVU FOX 2 it is investigating an armed robbery of a production team in the area of Broadway and Columbus Avenue.

Officers told the media outlet a vehicle stopped on the street, three armed men exited the car and approached the group prior to demanding their production equipment. The news crew complied, reportedly losing more than $18,000 worth of equipment and footage from a day wandering the Golden City.

The suspects then got back in their vehicle and took off.

"Thank you very much for the support we received in CT news. We'll keep shooting. We are here for the US President's summit with the Chinese leader. And we'll be there (as always) for CT," Vostal wrote in Crech on the social media platform X, translated by KTVU.

This year is the first time since 2011 the U.S. is hosting APEC. Leaders from the 21-member group will gather to talk about how to better spur trade and economic growth across the Pacific region.

The main event of this year's summit is unfolding on the sidelines: a meeting between President Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping. The two leaders have not spoken in person since they met last November during the Group of 20 summit in Bali, Indonesia.

ABC has a HUGE dunk on DeSantis:

Such journalizm:

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Tuesday took aim at fellow Republican Mitt Romney, painting the outgoing senator as a member of the "surrender caucus of Republicans" who "never fought for us in the beginning."

"I don't really know Mitt Romney," DeSantis said in response to a question about a Romney-backed gathering of presidential candidates last month.

But a black-and-white photograph from DeSantis' Harvard Law School yearbook unearthed by ABC News indicates that at one point, DeSantis campaigned on Romney's behalf.

He probably heard Romney had Binders Full of Women and just wanted to get a little action, if you know what I mean.

But anyway, if you campaign for someone that means you must know them. On the other hand, when Democrats join Louis Farrakhan on a stage they definitely do not know him.
