The excruciating Ana Navaro, who is an employee in good standing at ABC "News," said that we shouldn't blame Biden for pardoning Hunter because other presidents had pardoned people.
First of all, people are complaining the largest about the remorseless lying, not the pardon itself, which everyone outside the media propaganda bubble said would happen.
Biden lied and lied and promised to never pardon Hunter, because he wanted to claim that the DOJ was categorically above criticism in its Trump persecutions, so he lied about his own willingness to accept its decisions.
As we now know, thanks to NBC "News's" reporting (this is the story Scott Jennings mentioned the other day), Biden frequently discussed the possibility of pardoning Hunter, including in June of this past summer, while publicly lying and claiming this was an impossibility:
The president has discussed pardoning his son with some of his closest aides at least since Hunter Biden's conviction in June, said two people with direct knowledge of the discussions about the matter. They said it was decided at the time that he would publicly say he would not pardon his son even though doing so remained on the table.
Secondly, one of the examples of Famous Presidential Pardons that Noted Journalist Ana Navarro promoted as a fact was that of "Woodrow Wilson's brother-in-law."
A man with the unlikely name of, get this, "Hunter deButts."
I'm pretty sure that was my old CinemaJuggs sign-in.
Hunter deButts is a made-up name like Heywood Jablowmie. This man never existed. Apparently she used ChatGTP for her "research" for The View and ChatGTP is known to sometimes "hallucinate" fictions.
I saw someone remark that the creme de la media creme take stupid "research" shortcuts that even the laziest high school burnout would scoff at.

The funniest thing isn't that ChapGPT hallucinated a Woodrow Wilson pardon. It's that a robot spat out the name "Hunter deButts" and none of this sounded out of place to Ana Navarro, a supposed political insider and commentator. Not even a curious follow-up Google search.
I like to think that if Siri told me Calvin Coolidge once pardoned "Amanda Hugginkiss," I'd do a quick follow-up because I have never heard this before.
A leftist who claims to be an "author" claimed that Jimmy Carter pardoned his brother Billy for... being a Libyan agent.
This is just made-up.
Then a repeat-offender Fake News Artist at Real Media Outlet Esquire hallucinated a George H.W. Bush pardon of his son Neil Bush:
A simple fact-check -- which we now know for a fact Esquire doesn't bother with -- reveals that Neil Bush was never criminally charged with anything, so no pardon would be needed. Rather, he was sued civilly for doing phantom work for a savings and loan bank, and settled the suit. George H.W. Bush did not pardon anything.
But apart from that -- Aces!
Esquire appended an "editor's note" which basically said, "The entire claim made in this article is 100% false."
Then they just deleted the fake news entirely, leaving behind no notice of their error.

Charles Pierce (@CharlesPPierce) is an extremely malevolent maniac, and @esquire has published over 20 articles by him that refer to Republicans as having a "prion brain disease". (Republicans as such, all Republicans.)
I'm serious about the over 20 number. I stopped counting. And this was as of 2022 or so. Esquire ignored pleas to stop doing this, even from doctors.
Pierce also falsely said that Trump had committed the "crime" of rape, among other "crimes". I don't think that's been corrected. Esquire is not a men's magazine anymore they're an extremely trashy leftist crackpot rag.
If I recall correctly, prions are mis-folded proteins. I think they may be what causes mad cow disease.
And this particular Nobel Prize Laureate has, according to this source, written 20 articles claiming all Republicans have "prions" in their brains.
And Esquire -- a "real media" organization, per Jim VanDerHeie -- keeps letting him post his lunatic blog posts under their banner, with no fact-checking whatsoever.
Well done, Real Media. You continue to perform precisely to expectations.
Why do I get the feeling that all of these Real Media Men are often found on Reddit's "Hunter deButts" forums?
